Beachfront apartment in the quaint village of Théoule at the foot of the red rocks and forest of Esterel, nestled between Cannes (15 min) and Mandelieu (10 min), (40km from Nice airport). The beach outside our apartment is sandy with clean water, a floating dock for swimmers and the occasional small sailboat from the nearby sailing club. Restful and laid back. Plenty of restaurants and things to do- water sports, forest trails and seaside paved walking trail, mountain biking, nearby golfing, sea cures, lavender fields and perfumeries, museums, aquarium, Provence artisans. Details of the apartment: new building in Mediterranean red stucco style. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4, with two beds in bedroom and a generous sofa bed in the living room, which is equipped with new TV and DVD player. Master bath has a large tub and shower as well as washer/dryer for laundry. Both the living room and bedroom open up to a large terrace overlooking beach.

Saturday to Saturday rental.
One-time cleaning charge: 60 Euros.

Changeover day
Check in time is 12-5pm. Check out time is 9-11am Minimum rental is 7 nights.

Coast/Beach
Our apartment building is only one in French Riviera that is directly on the beach. Walk out of the apartment and onto the beach without ever stepping on asphalt! Enjoy the sound of the sea while you nap on the terrace or sleep at night. View beautiful rainbows over the water! The water is crystal clear, the beach uncrowded. We have met several people who drive an hour daily to come to our beach!
Golf
For golf lovers, 10 minutes away in Mandelieu is the number one golfing resort of the Cote d'Azur, possessing the "Old Course"- one of the oldest golf courses in France-and the "Riviera Golf", a wooded course, in the middle of the mimosas of Esterel.
Travel
Nice is 40 minutes away. Cannes 15 minutes. Mandelieu 10 minutes. The train is 10 min walk from apt (far enough that we never hear it) and can take you to these cities in half the time...especially good during high season.

Walk or mountain bike the many kilometers of footpaths and nature trails in the nearby Estérel Hills while enjoying the sandy beaches of Théoule. Many seaside restaurants offer a variety of casual and formal dining experiences at the water’s edge or over the water with a dock full of tables! There are 9 hotel restaurants and 21 restaurants in Théoule. Sometimes referred to as La Ville d’Ecriture for its yearly Writing & Arts Festival in June, Théoule’s town hall boasts the largest collection of inkpots of any town in Europe! One enters the village along the curved coastal road lined with larger than life neo-modern sculptures including Femme Sortant de L’Eau, Woman emerging from water and ‘Naissance de la Femme’, Birth of a Woman. There is also the impressive ‘Croix de Lorraine’, a symbol of the disembarquement of allied troops in 1944 and a yearly celebration of this event. In the summer evening, enjoy a quiet stroll along the Promenade de la Darse and in winter view the snow-capped Alps across the sea. Sports and other Activities: There are many activities for land lovers and lovers of the sea. At our apartment side beach you’ll find beach volley ball and boccia ball courts, two sailing clubs, windsurfing, scuba diving, and nearby excursions to sea water cures. Hike in the scrub or in the forest of cork oaks and maritime pines.
