Les Aunaies - a beautifully renovated Farmhouse situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Pays d'Auge. Splendid isolation with breathtaking views towards Caen and the Normandy coast, yet only 3 miles from the bustling market town of St Pierre sur Dives with its many shops, restaurants, swimming pool and tennis courts and the biggest market in Calvados! Explore the woods and paths around Les Aunaies that offer mile after mile of walking, cycling and horse riding. The D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux with its famous tapestry, Falaise, the bithplace of William the Conqueror, Caen with his 2 fabulous Abbeys, Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur and Lisieux are all within easy reach of Les Aunaies. There are many Chateaux and Museums and world famous Stud Farms to visit, why not follow the 40km Cider route with visits to farms and cellars along the way or the similar Cheese route taking in some of the beautiful towns and villages along the way such as Camembert and Livarot.

Notes on prices
La Ferme de Rosiers - Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds for up to 8 persons. Add £30 for each additional person up to 12 (low season) and £50 for each additional person up to 12 (high season). Christmas is a magical time at Les Aunaies, walks in the woods followed by some mulled wine in front of the open fire perhaps? And in the morning the wonderful smell of pine from the 9-12 ft. Christmas tree fully decorated and lit.
Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday changeover in high season. Mid - low season mid week and weekend bookings accepted.

Access to ground floor bedroom in La Ferme has 2 small steps. This 5th bedroom is also the 3rd lounge but can be curtained off to create a bedroom. Double bed settee.

Coast/Beach
Glorious golden sandy beaches are approximately 40 minutes away at Houlgate and Caubourg. Deuville is approx 1 hour and Honfleur just over 1 hour.
Golf
Several golf courses, nearest 45 minutes Golf Barriere de Saint-Julian, highly recommended, golf courses at Caen and Clecy approximately 1 hour.
Travel
Driving distances: Caen Port 45 minutes. Le Havre 1 hour, Dieppe, 2 hours, Boulogne 2.5 hours, Calais 3 hours.
Paris Airports approximately 2.5 hours drive.

Don't forget to pack your binoculars. 26 different species of birds have been spotted at Les Aunaies, may of them birds of prey that circle overhead. We even have our own resident Barn Owl!
Children will love 'Devil Park', an 8 minute drive away with its cresta run, bungy jumps, Crazy Golf and horse riding.

Despite the pictures we had seen, we were still stunned by the beautiful property and the surroundings.
