‘La Vieille Ferme de la Moussière’ provides comfortable and flexible bed and breakfast and half-board accommodation for up to 15 people in 5 spacious en-suite bedrooms. We are located in the traditional Savoyarde village of Saint Jean d'Aulps, just outside Morzine in the Portes de Soleil. Our chalet is a historic 300 year old house situated in the heart of the village. The chalet was completely renovated during the summer of 2008, offering the utmost in comfort whilst preserving the building's character and charm. We offer the ideal base for both Summer and Winter holidays. Ski lifts 5 mins.

Continental buffet breakfast: a range of breads and jams, croissants and pastries, cold meat and cheese platters, cereals and yoghurts, fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate, assorted fruit juices or full English for 5 euros.
Packed lunches can be provided for 5 euros.
You can join us for dinner for 25 euros per head. Dinner consists of three courses, plus wine and soft drinks. Our menus are ever-changing to make best use of fresh, seasonal, local produce. We offer a varied menu combining French classics with modern cuisine from Europe and around the world.
Luxury towels, linen, toiletries and hairdryer provided.

Large south facing terrace and garden. Evening barbeques during the summer. New outdoor hot-tub for Winter 2010/11.
Skiing
We are located 5 minutes from the ski slopes at St Jean d'Aulps and 10 minutes from the lifts in Morzine and Ardent. During the winter season we provide complementary transport by private mini-bus to/from any of the Morzine area lifts - So you have access to the 650 km of pistes of the 'Portes du Soleil' within 10 minutes (and no walking in boots carrying skis!).
We have negotiated a 25% discount for our guests on ski hire with a local ski shop.
Ski passes can be pre-ordered and will be ready for you on arrival
Special interest holidays
We offer tailor-made activity holidays during the summer. The Portes du Soleil Europe’s premier mountain biking area, and also offers some fantastic hiking. In addition the following activities can be arranged locally: White-water rafting, Kayaking, Climbing, Canyoning, Paragliding, Horse riding and many more - see our website (link below).
Travel
Geneva airport 75 minutes. Transfers available for 30 euros per person each way.
Chambery airport 1 hour 40 mins, Lyon and Grenoble 2½ hours. Transfer prices on request.
Approx 550 miles from Calais / 8 hours drive (including stops).

Morzine 5km. Thonon (lake Geneva) 20km. Evian 25km. Yvoire (medieval town on lake Geneva) 35km. Geneva 65km.
