It has excellent links to the huge ski area of Flaine, Morillon, Samoens, Les Carroz and Sixt and is perfect for all summer activities. It is also within 45mins/1hr of Chamonix, Annecy and Geneva. Chalet Esprit offers high standards of comfort, service and hospitality from its owners Toni and Jez all year round.

Changeover day
Saturday is change over day in winter. In the summer there is more flexibility, however we do ask for a minimum of a 2 nights stay if possible.

| Other: | Our second living/ TV room provides a place to have fun and relax with home cinema, large LCD screen, Game cube with games, board games and a selection of books. All bedrooms have TV/DVD/CD units so don't forget your DVDs or CDs! Fans in rooms in summer. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included. They are changed every week, more often if desired but a charge is made. The chalet is cleaned daily for catered/B&B and obligatory mid-week clean and daily hot tub maintenance when self catered. |

Outside
Beautiful peaceful position in own private grounds with large garden and adjoining woodland. Also with hot tub on the balcony, outdoor furniture and a sun terrace with lovely views, it is truly beautiful.
Coast/Beach
There is a lakeside beach within 5-10 minutes walk and plentiful river walks and cycling right on our doortsep.
Golf
Haute Savoie is great for golfers with some of the finest courses in Europe, including 4 championship courses. Stunning scenery, cheaper green fees, uncrowded fairways and beautifully maintained greens it's a must. The Haute Savoie golf pass gives 5 green fees for 150 euros with 10 courses to choose from - this provides excellent value. An example of courses - Divonne les Bains, Evian Masters, Chamonix, Annecy (2 courses), Megeve, all within 1hr of the chalet.
Skiing
Chalet Esprit is 480 mtrs away from the fast 12 place telecabine providing direct access to the Grand Massif snowsure ski area with 265 km of skiing. 77 ski lifts, including 4/6/8 seater chairlifts. There are 68 blue, 49 reds, 12 black and extensive off piste. There are also state of the art terrain parks for snowboarders. Finally there are 90kms of prepared cross country trails on our doorstep. We offer a twice daily shuttle service to the slopes but it is only a 5 minute walk!

Language for Fun courses (children only)
A private tutor all to yourselves for a week's holiday.
Mornings improving your French/and or Spanish. Try an activity in the afternoon. The course will be tailor made to your needs. Then spend the evening relaxing at the chalet in the hot tub or in the garden or having a 4 course dinner. Toni is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who believes that learning by immersion, ie in the country, is the best way to acquire and develop a language.
Travel
Geneva airport is 1hr drive. During the winter season free private transfers are available if required and local buses in resort are free with your ski pass.
Driving is very easy and Chalet Esprit is 8hrs Calais to chalet - motorway all the way until the last 15 mins!
In summer it is not essential to have a car, however we do strongly recommend it. We can offer a transfer and taxi service at an additional charge.
Distances
Samoens is 2 mins away by car, Cluses is 15 mins down to the motorway. Chamonix is 45 mins, Megeve 30 mins, Annecy 45 mins, Evian les Bains 45 mins, Yvoire 45 mins, Geneva 1hr. Italy via Mont Blanc tunnel is 1hr 15 mins.
Further details
There is a wealth of restaurants in the area. Banks and cash points are available in Morillon and Samoens. There are many shops and a good supermarket between Morillon and Samoens. There are a variety of activities especially in the summer, eg concerts on the lake, children's activities and a host of outdoor pursuits. Sporting activities include, walking, mountain biking, parapenting, via ferrata, horse riding, watersports and many, many more...
