Changeover day
Saturday is change over day in Chalet Esprit, Sunday changeover for Chalet Exige. In winter these dates are fixed, in summer for self catered/flexi-catered or fully catered weeks or B+B there is more flexibility.

Chalet Exige

Chalet Exige is a privately run luxurious chalet with 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 13. Upstairs, 1 bedroom is en suite with bath and full standing shower, whilst the other two bedrooms share a communal bathroom. On the lounge level there is a further communal shower room with WC. Downstairs there is bedroom 4, with kitchenette and en suite shower room. Each bedroom is well 5 UK adaptors, storage safes, luxurious bathrobes (winter only), fluffy towels and hairdryers. There is ample storage and hanging in all bedrooms. The large luxury beds can be either a super-king size for exceptional comfort or two generous singles – three of the four bedrooms have extra beds. There is a large open plan lounge/ dining area with a cosy open fireplace with LCD TV, DVD, Sky and Game Cube. There is also a selection of books, games and DVDs. We also have WIFI access throughout the chalet & iPod docking station. Large balcony heated outdoor swimming pool, large trampoline, swings and vegetables. |

Notes on accommodation
Please note: Kitchens are private in winter and summer unless when self catering. For non self catered holidays laundry can be done by arrangement, and at an additional charge of 5 euros per load wash, dry and fold. The chalets are cleaned daily for catered/B&B and mid-week clean available at an extra cost for self catered - daily hot tub and swimming pool maintenance included in all holiday packages. Linen change available for multi-week bookings.
Both Chalet Esprit and Chalet Exige are run as a luxury catered ski chalets in the winter and in the summer they provide a bespoke and luxurious experience whether self catered, flexi-catered/ B&B or fully catered. We aim to tailor your holiday to suit your specific needs. Additional services are offered such as catering, massage, childcare, transfers, cooking courses, pre university life training courses and luxury hen and stag weekends.

Unfortunately our property is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Beautiful peaceful position in own private grounds with large flat garden with large, heated outdoor pool, decked area and adjoining woodland. Also with hot tubs on the balcony, outdoor furniture and a sun terrace with lovely views, it is truly beautiful. Not overlooked and a real charm.
Coast/Beach
There is a lakeside beach within 5-10 minutes walk. It is perfect for families with a beach, swimming, horse rides, high rope courses, tennis and just chilling out. There are also plentiful river walks and cycling right on our doorstep. Other activities include white water rafting, paragliding, mountain biking, horse riding, climbing - to name just a few.
Golf
Haute Savoie is great for golfers with some of the finest courses in Europe, including 4 championship courses. Stunning scenery, cheaper green fees, uncrowded fairways and beautifully maintained greens it's a must. With 10 courses to choose from - this provides excellent value. An example of courses - Divonne les Bains, Evian Masters, Chamonix, Annecy (2 courses), Megeve, all within 1hr of the chalet.
Skiing
Chalet Esprit and Chalet Exige are 480 mtrs away from the fast 12 place telecabine providing direct access to the Grand Massif snowsure ski area with 265 km of skiing. 77 ski lifts, including 4/6/8 seater chairlifts. There are 68 blue, 49 reds, 12 black and extensive off piste. There are also state of the art terrain parks for snowboarders. Finally there are 90 kms of prepared cross country trails on our doorstep. We offer a twice daily shuttle service to the slopes but it is only a 5 minute walk! All ski school, lift passes and ski hire pre organised in advance so totally hassle free. In house childcare offered for children.

Travel
Geneva airport is 1hr drive. Free private transfers are available for catered bookings only but we can also offer transfers for all our guests . Driving is very easy and Chalet Esprit is 8hrs Calais to chalet - motorway all the way until the last 15 mins!
In summer it is not essential to have a car, however we do strongly recommend it. We can offer a transfer and taxi service at an additional charge.
Distances
Morillon village 1 min, Samoens is 2 mins away by car, Cluses is 15 mins down to the motorway. Chamonix is 45 mins, Megeve 30 mins, Annecy 45 mins, Evian les Bains 45 mins, Yvoire 45 mins, Geneva 1hr. Italy via Mont Blanc tunnel is 1hr 15 mins.
Further details
There is a wealth of restaurants in the area. Banks and cash points are available in Morillon and Samoens. There are many shops and a good supermarket between Morillon and Samoens. There are a variety of activities especially in the summer, eg concerts on the lake, children's activities and a host of outdoor pursuits. Sporting activities include, walking, mountain biking, parapenting, via ferrata, horse riding, watersports and many, many more... Perfect for families and non-families alike.

About the owner
Toni graduated from Kings College London with a BA and PGCE in Modern Languages and Education. Her French language skills have enabled us to integrate into the community ensuring that we maintain an authentic French experience something which is very important to us and which we feel has been lost in some of the busier resorts. Jez graduated from Jordanhill College Glasgow with a BA in Outdoor Education in the Community and then worked both in a LEA centre and as a freelance Outdoor Pursuits Instructor. He then spent six years as a Captain in Her Majesty’s Royal Marines. Jez has harboured ambitions to eventually open his own restaurant and the Chalets have enabled him an early opportunity to demonstrate his culinary flair.
