The detached 250 year old farmworkers' cottage is located in a hamlet setting in idyllic countryside next to the owners house. It has its own entrance and garden area. Restored to a high standard and retaining its original character the cottage comfortably sleeps four adults or two adults and two children. A third infant can be accommodated. There are lots of of activities for children (and adults). The holiday is particularly suitable for families as we have two young children of our own and you are more than welcome to join in with us. There are three hectares of grounds to explore and endless walks through the forests right from your doorstep. This is one of the most unspoilt areas of France and is perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, nature watching or just relaxing and enjoying the absence of traffic. The countryside is hilly with rivers, lakes and woods it is very pretty. The main activities are cattle farming and forestry.

Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival normally after 4pm and departures before 10am.

A sofa bed is available on request.

Outside there is a covered pergola, barbecue and several acres of grounds to enjoy. There are plenty of other activities - swings and slide, table tennis, trampoline, toys and games and lots, lots more.

Coast/Beach
There is a good choice of lakeside beaches close by. The enormous Lac de Vassiviere, half an hour away, has a good choice of watersports.

Travel
We are seven or eight hours drive from the channel ports. Limoges airport, served by Ryanair, is forty minutes away.

The nearest town is St Leonard de Noblat at 10kms with all shopping facilities.
