This holiday home is perfect for families with different interests. The private garden is great for relaxing, playing ball games or enjoying barbecues. The local area has beaches, forests, restaurants, markets, pretty villages, discos and sporting activities. Further afield we find excellent places of cultural and historic importance. Bright and spacious 3 bedroom traditional farmhouse with large private gardens in the Cotentin Regional Nature Park.

| Living Rooms: | Lounge, kitchen and dining area are in 1 very spacious room with tiled floor and beamed ceiling. Huge original fireplace (logs provided). Table for 8+ people. Double sofa bed, rocking chair, rustic stools. Jersey TV, videos + DVD player, radio, CD player. |
| Other: | Second sitting room has another big double sofa bed, cupboards, bookcase with mainly English books, some toys and games. |

Duvets and pillows provided, but towels and bedlinen aren't provided. Cleaning is the responsibility of the visitor, a cleaning service is an optional extra at £40. The property is checked every changeover. |

Notes on accommodation
Beautiful huge traditional fireplace (logs included. Electric heaters in rooms).
Well equipped kitchen. Traditional thick stone walls.
All room are light & spacious and have wooden beamed ceilings.
Suitable for children, and 2 families. Quiet area.
Accessibility
Not adapted for wheelchairs, but sofa beds provide sleeping options on the ground floor.
Outside
Patio, very large courtyard and lawns to the front (morning sun).
The big private back garden has several fruit trees and a 'wood-henge' seating arrangement with an orchard/fig tree view. Perfect for sunset drinks! Outdoor furniture and barbecue provided.

Coast/Beach
A good choice of beaches nearby, from undeveloped and unspoilt Printania plage (4 minutes drive and only a car park free) to livelier resorts with some shops and cafes - Pirou and St.Germain (a few minutes further south and north). Then bigger resorts are under 15 minutes like Portbail (North) and Coutainville (South).
Golf
About twenty minutes away at Agon Coutainville.
Travel
Nearest ferry ports: Cherbourg (1 hours drive) and Caen (1.5 hour drive). Guests get a discount with Brittany Ferries.
It's essential to have a car. Roads are far less busy than in the UK!
The nearest train station is in Carentan, about 20 minutes drive away, an easy way to get to Paris. There is an infrequent bus link to Cherbourg.
Distances
Central location - under one hour (by car) from Cherbourg, about 1.1/2 hours from historic Caen and the fabulous world heritage site Mont St. Michel, the impressive landing beaches (Utah, Arromanches...) & Bayeux (famous tapestry). 5 minutes from very good supermarkets in Lessay & Creances. 4 minutes from nearest quiet, uncrowded beach. 10 minutes from livelier resorts.
Further details
Good choice of supermarkets and local markets within 10 minutes drive. Picturesque Portbail has excellent restaurants, riding and sailing centres and a historic church and bridge. Pirou has an impressive castle and cute small beach resort with good market on Sunday. Lessay has a beautiful 11th century abbey with classical concerts in summer, also new discos. Locals love the low tide fishing.
