Situated on the edge of the village of Pisany in the centre of Charente Maritime. Pisany is well placed for all facilities needed to enjoy a holiday in a warm climate which rivals Mediterranean resorts of the South of France in the Summer. The best beaches in France are a mere 15 minute drive West of Pisany starting with the extensive sandy beaches of St Georges de Didonne. The Romanesque town of Saintes is 10 minutes East. We have 4 excellent Golf courses, all open to the public, within 30 minutes. The Gite is ideal for walking and cycling through the forests, vineyards and villages on our doorstep.

Changeover day is Saturday, arrival time being after 2pm and departure time is no later than 10am.

Travel
By air: La Rochelle, Poitiers, Bordeaux, Cognac are approximately one hours drive. By Sea: St Malo is 400km. Use of a car is essential to explore the wonderful region. By Train: TGV to La Rochelle or Angueleme with links to Saintes.

There is a renowned boulangerie, fully stocked mini market, pharmacy, English speaking Doctor, Post Office, Auberge with recently refurbished restaurant and weekly market in the village. In the nearby town of Saintes there is a daily market and vast array of shops and boutiques. The chic town of Royan also has a daily market and shops and boutiques
Booking notes
On reserving the gite by email a contract will be forwarded to be signed and returned with a deposit of 100 euros per week. Full payment is required 8 weeks before arrival date and a damage payment is required upon arrival of 200 euros.
