A recently renovated barn with a walled garden set within a quiet village west of Chatillon sur Seine, en route to Chablis. The property has been styled to retain a balance of the old and new incorporating natural features of oak and stone whilst blending with the modern comfortable furnishings and up to date technology. Just a short journey to the Boulangerie where you can collect your fresh bread and croissants to return and enjoy a sunny breakfast on the terrace. This is a place where you can easily relax and unwind in a tranquil setting or enjoy the hive of activities in the neighbouring towns were there are, weekly markets, many cafes and restaurants. To the west lies the town of Chablis and it's fine vineyards where you can taste, enjoy and take home the best wines on offer or further afield you can explore the rolling hills of Burgundy scattered with small villages and castles.

Coast/Beach
Approximately ten minutes drive to Lac de Marcenay with small ‘beach’ area and hotel/bar. Approx one hour drive to Mensil Saint-Pere and the lnland lakes of the Forêt d’Orient offering sandy beaches, pedalos, water sports and sailing.
Golf
Golf available at Tanlay approx 20 minutes drive.
Travel
Car recommended. Paris is approximately two hours drive. Alternatively TGV to Montbard and car hire.
Distances
Local shops - Laignes 5 minutes. Large Supermarkets - Chatillon-sur-seine & Tonnerre 15 minutes, Auxerre, Troyes & Dijon all approximately 1 hour.

We live in Kent, England with our two children and a Border Terrier. We've been going on holiday to France for many years and wanted something more permanent. We try to get here as often as possible but that's not as often as we'd like - it's usually the kids activities holding us back. But it's great when we're here - this is just a perfect area to relax.
