The property provides a perfect base from which to explore all that the Pays Basque has to offer, or to simply relax in the gardens enjoying the stunning mountain views. There are activities for all seasons - the coastal resorts of Biarritz and St Jean de Luz are but an hour's drive away, or there is winter skiing at the resorts of la Pierre St Martin, Gourette and Cauterets. The area is used for the Tour de France, perfect for cyclists, and the endless local walks go from easy to advanced. Excellent rafting, canoeing and fishing (permit req'd) on the river Saison for those who like to be active, or for the more relaxed, fabulous bird watching. Visited daily by the bakery van for fresh bread and pastries, there is also a local restaurant 1/2km away. The nearest town of Mauleon Licharre is 10 minutes drive away offering plenty of shops, restaurants and services for all your needs.

Changeover day
Saturday changeover day, arrival after 3pm departure by 10am please.

Towels and linen included. Property cleaned and bed linen changed before arrival. Clean towels every 3rd day. |

We can also provide you with catering for days when you do not want to dine out and would prefer to enjoy the gite surroundings. Let us cook it and leave for you to have at your pleasure.
