We are 60 minutes from La Rochelle, Royan and Angouleme airports and just 20 minutes from the town of Cognac. We have a selection of accommodations, from four lovely large bed and breakfast rooms to a two person romantic cottage, all the way to a spacious well equipped cottage to sleep six people. All the accommodation is ground floor, each with it’s own private garden or patio area. Our Octagonal heated swimming Pool 10.5. x 5.5 meters enjoys the benefits of salt water filtration which is kinder to the skin and eyes than a chlorinated pool. What better way to relax than to enjoy a glass of local wine with a good book, basking in the sun around the pool! Whatever you want from a holiday – a memorable holiday awaits you!

Notes on prices
Prices are per night and per week. Bed and breakfast tariff. Room for 1 or 2 persons - 55 euros/night. Room for 1 or 2 persons (July/August) - 65 euros/night for multiple night stays. Room for 1 or 2 persons (July/August) - 75 euros for a single night stay. Additional bed/cot (Under 12 years old) - 10 euros. Additional bed (Over 12 years old) - 15 euros. All rooms for the country house are all en-suite and breakfast is inclusive. Check-in is between 4 pm. and 10pm. Check-out is by 10am.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday (during the peak season). Arrival from 4pm, departure by 10 am. Please contact us to arrange alternative days and other times.

The Cottage - Garden (2 Bedroom, Sleeps 4/6)

The cottage - garden. The entrance to this south facing gite is via a private walled terrace (with it’s own table, chairs, and BBQ), which is decorated from spring to autumn with geraniums and lavender. The lounge and dining kitchen (generously stocked with crockery, cutlery, and crockery for the little ones, glasses, pots and pans and many other kitchen and dining items, cupboards, washing machine, fridge, and gas cooker, microwave and many other electrical appliances), are separated by a central corridor which leads to the bathroom and the bedrooms. Both large bedrooms are spacious and uncluttered, although well provided with drawer and hanging facilities and can sleep up to 6 persons. |

Le Jardin d’Angelyne looks forward to welcoming you to our extremely comfortable and well appointed bedrooms. Private entrance, 4 double spacious bedrooms, with views across the surrounding countryside and over the pool & garden enclosure, all with en-suite shower-rooms and toilets, exposed beams, fireplace. Breakfast can be served until noon in the privacy of your own room or in the garden. Surrounded by beautiful mature gardens, there is plenty of room to relax at Le Jardin d’ Angelyne. |

Notes on accommodation
A cot and highchair can be provided. There is a hairdryer in each room and an iron and ironing board available on request.
Tea, coffee or hot chocolate are available all day from the kitchen on request. Laundry facilities are available at a small charge. Private parking. A WiFi broadband internet service is provided and use of a computer for guests. Continental breakfast is included: fruit, yoghurt's, fruit juice, croissants, brioches and fresh bread, confiture, boiled eggs cooked to order and tea and coffee.
English TV is available in the guest’s lounge. You can play Boules (Petanque), badminton, etc.
Outside

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are about 50 minutes up the coast at Meschers - these are small coves with safe, sandy beaches. Five minutes further on are the enormous beaches of St.Georges de Didonne and Royan, both with full safety patrols, lots of space and some water sports. Royan, is the most famous seaside resort on the Atlantic coast. It’s large beach, shops, and nearby La Palmyre zoo (largest in Europe) make this coast mostly attractive.
Golf
There are all types of courses within Poitou Charentes. Moreover, the temperate climate, exceptionally long hours of sunshine and special light in our region mean that you can play at any time of the year. Distances
Matha and Aulnay are at 9km, Cognac and St Jean d'Angely are 20kms away. Royan and Rochefort-sur-Mer are 50kms.
Booking notes
For our Cottages bookings: payment - a 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. A deposit of 150 euros is payable on arrival and will be returned to you on departure providing no damages or breakages are incurred during your stay.
Reasonable gas and electricity costs included. Accepted payments: cash in euros; direct bank transfer; Paypal or personal checks
