Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Reductions made on bookings of 2 weeks or more. Short breaks available in low season rates on application. Payment in Euros also accepted.
Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred change over day but this is flexible as are the arrival and departure times. Normally guest are asked to arrive after 4pm and leave by 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The site is very child friendly with several play areas. St Jean de Monts has 'Station Kid' accreditation with many activities for children. Blue Flag beaches with surveillance.
Travel cot available no extra charge.
Accessibility
Due to the only available access and limited space the home is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Patio table and six chairs also two sun loungers. Gas BBQ. There is also a rotary clothes dryer and car parking space. Three pool complexes on site, one open air with adjacent children's water play area.An indoor with jacuzzi and separate baby pool and changing facilities. An outdoor series of water slides.
Coast/Beach
Large blue flag sandy beaches five minutes drive from the home. Very safe bathing and there is also life guard surveillance. On the main beach there is a wide promenade with designated cycle lanes and free parking. Resort has UNESCO creditation, Station Kid.
Special interest holidays
There are many cycle trails in the area graded to ability.Several nearby stables offer horse riding for all abilities.
Travel
The nearest airport is Nantes about an hours drive. Calais is approx 630km. Caen is approx 330km. St Malo approx 330km. Car hire or use recommended in low season. Bus services at reasonable fares in July and August.
Distances
Approx 1.5km to town. Easy reach of Puy du Fou, Futuroscope, Planet Sauvage and aquariums.
Further details
Large supermarkets on the edge of town, Super U and Intermarche. There is a market in the town centre on Wednesdays and Saturdays also most major banks are located around the town square. Many places of interest for all ages in the area. Details of these are available both in the property, on site and the tourist office which is located on the main beach.
Booking notes
Our booking form (available by e-mail or post) must be completed and returned with a deposit cheque for 33% of the holiday cost. Final payment will be due not less than six weeks before the start of the holiday. At this time you will be asked for a separate cheque for £250. This will only be cashed in the event of major damage. We ask that small damages are made good at the time.

About the owner
I am a retired civil servant and my husband is a retired teacher. We live in Surrey and both worked in there. Our four children and grand children enjoy holidays with us in France which is a country we have loved for many years. We bought our home from new in 1996 and have treated it with loving care, taking great pride in the condition, equipment and location on the site. We enjoy relaxing holidays there as often as possible and hope our guests get as much pleasure from thei holidays as we do.

Why the owner chose a mobile home in this location
We have always liked this part of France and wanted somewhere which would give us the benefit of both coast and inland with a good climate. It is easily accessible from the channel ports and flights from UK.
The site is owned and run by a well known local family which provides continuity and friendliness. When we were looking to buy we were struck by lovely atmosphere generated by all.
Unique benefits of the property
When we are there we are able to relax and soak up the sun, the beach is only a few minutes away as are the local supermarkets and shops. The situation is ideal for exploring the Vendée and further afield.
Unlike mobile homes let by large companies we provide many "extras" such as TV, stereo/radio, DVD player,and a full range of cleaning equipment, not to mention toys, books and board games.
We have a large emplacement which is quiet and offers more privacy than many other homes on the site with plenty of space for children to play.
We bought the home from new and have carefully maintained it.
