Enjoying a quiet, elevated position, on the foothills of the breathtaking L'Esterel mountains, with magnificent views overlooking the bay of Miramar and Cannes our apartment is a fantastic base to explore the beauty of the Cote D'azur, the perfumed gardens of Provence, the wonderful beaches and restaurants of the lovely Theoule Sur Mer. Cannes is just 15 mins away around the bay. Monte Carlo 1 hour. French Alps (90 mins away), or maybe visit St Tropez. Then in the evenings have a barbecue and chill out in the private patio/garden or by the pool with a bottle of wine (or two) and watch the ever changing colours of the sea, the mountains and the sky as the evening sun fades. If you like walking and hiking or mountain biking, then right behind the apartment are a network of mountain trails, through the Esterel Mountains. The surrounding area offers outdoor enthusiasts the best in walking, hiking, horse riding and mountain bike riding. There are 2 mountain bikes for your use in the garage.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week and in UK Pounds. (Please use currency converter above for euros/dollar). A holding deposit of £200 will secure your holiday. The total amount of the holiday must be paid in full 4 weeks before your start date (the £200 will be held and used as security and returned to you after your stay). We would consider discounts for a long let (winter, spring, or autumn).
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Please make sure you check-out by 12am, (next holiday makers check in at 2pm) an inventory inspection is done between these times. The property should be clean on your arrival and we ask you to leave it clean when you depart.

| Living Rooms: | The living room is modern and light, with sliding patio doors leading on to a terrace and private garden looking across the valley to the mountains and bay of Miramar. There's a sofabed (sleeps 2), a 32 inch flat screen TV, television, DVD and a CD player |
| Other: | There is a coin du nuit in the hallway with bunk beds. Also there is lockable garage for your car if you need it. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Duvets, pillows, towels, linen, and blankets can be provided. If you use the facility of our sheets and towels, all we ask is you strip the bed and place all the towels and sheets in laundry basket in bathroom, after your stay. |
Notes on accommodation
There is also a lockable garage for your vehicle if you need it, situated on the forecourt, as you drive in. 2 mountain bikes for your use are in the garage. If you fancy a bit of fishing there is also a rod and tackle also in the garage, also snorkeling equipment for your use.
Accessibility
There are stairs and no lift, so may not be suitable for the infirm or elderly.
Outside
Outside there is a tiled terrace (with table and 4 chairs, and 2 reclining sun chairs) leading on to a small private garden overlooking the valley to the sea. There is an electric BBQ for your use. Just next door but not overlooking the terrace/garden is the pool, for the exclusive use of residents only, with stunning views (see photo).
Coast/Beach
Just below us is Miramar bay with its beaches, marina and restaurants, here you can sail, scuba dive, water ski or wind surf. The beautiful beaches and restaurants of Theoule Sur Mer, are also just around the corner along the amazing, winding, scenic, coastal road, seen in many a Hollywood film, and Cannes is just a 15 min drive away. Why not visit St Tropez, or the mountain village of Mougin. Also nearby is France's answer to the Grand Canyon, The Canyon Du Verdon (2nd deepest in the world)
Golf
There are numerous golf courses in nearby Mandelieu, Mourgins and towards St Raphael. Some golfers may want to tee up at the oldest course on the Riviera, Golf Bastide Du Roi.
Skiing
The French Alps ski resorts of Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg are just 90 minutes away.
Travel
Nice airport is just 40 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged at the Airport.
Ebookers are good for reasonable, online booking. To reach the South of France you can fly to Nice (BA, British Midland, Go or Easy Jet) then travel by train, bus, taxi or hire car to Miramar. Alternatively drive from any Channel port (about 750 miles) comfortably in 12 hours on the AutoRoute's, or take two or three days ambling through the French countryside.

Theoule sur Mer 3kms. Cannes 15 kms. Antibes 28 kms. Nice 40 kms (40 mins). Grasse 25 kms. St Tropez 40 kms. Monte Carlo 55kms. Grand Canyon Du Verdon (France's answer to the USA's Grand Canyon) with its huge lake, 60 kms. Italy 60 kms.
Further details
Restaurants - the nearest the 'Tour de l’Esquillion', a 2 minute walk down the hill, on the coast road, (where you first turned right to drive up the hill to apartment). It has wonderful views across to Cannes. But maybe a little pricey.
Turning right and going west down the hill to Miramar Bay you will find the 'Le Patio' restaurant/bar (a lot cheaper and less formal, you could also walk down through the valley to this restaurant in 10 minutes), lots of our guests eat here several times, house wine 14 Euros, Specials of the day 15 euros, tasty pizzas made on wood burning oven 10 euro, 2 course lunch 12 euro, absolutely highly recommended and virtually on our doorstep. A further drive down the hill is the Miramar Hotel, this is a Spa Hotel (if you fancy a pampering) with a gourmet restaurant and a further restaurant overlooking the sea, pricey though. Further down is the bay and the Marina where there are more restaurants (great for when there is a firework display).
Theoule has some great restaurants: The Marco Polo right on the beach, where on warm, moonlit summer evenings you can eat out on a narrow pier above the sea (see picture of Theoule beach).
There are a few friendly and really reasonable restaurants up the High St in Theoule and in the square. Anyway that’s enough, you will find your own and probably better, let us know.
By the way you can order fresh baguettes, bread and croissants at the 'Les Terrasses de Saint Honorat' hotel, 2 minutes from the apartment, of an evening, and they will be ready for you to pick up in the morning. Les Terrasses de Saint Honorat is on the corner as you turn into our road. The Maeva hotel, also offers this service. The Maeva also has a snack bar/cafe and organises excursians to Monte Carlo, Saint Tropez, Themed water parks etc, should you not have a car. The Maeva is 5 mins walk from the apartment.
