15 minutes drive to nearest coast and beaches at Port Grimaud and Golfe de St Tropez. 25 minutes to Beaches at Pampellone.

18 hole Beauvalon Golf Course, St Maxime 15 minutes.
Travel
Nice airport 1 hour 15 minutes drive. Marseille airport 1 hour 50 minute drive.Toulon/Hyeres airport 40 minutes. Use of car or car hire is essential, no public transport to Hamlet.
Distances
6km to nearest Village (Grimaud) with restaurants, grocery stores, ATM, arts and crafts. Cogolin Village 6 km with all amenities and supermarkets.
Booking notes
Arrival time only after 1600 hrs, departure by 1000hrs for cleaning purposes. A 25% non-refundable deposit to confirm booking within 4 working days of verbal/written booking request, the full balance being due 4 weeks prior to arrival. A damage deposit will be required for stays of 7 days or more and refunded within 7 days of departure. Quoted rates are not negotiable unless subject to a special offer being advertised on owners direct website.

About the owner
My wife and I work abroad which involves a lot of travel and time away from home. When not away we love to escape to spend our free time in France or Mallorca where our main home is. It is always a great feeling returning to the house in Val de Gilly.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
After spending a lot of time on the French Riviera, we finally decided to buy a house in 2000. The area around the house has everything you could need for a wonderful holiday - great weather, unspoilt countryside, cosmopolitan St Tropez, amazing beaches. We love to walk, and there are endless trails with incredible views direct from the hamlet. The hamlet is away from the crowds in July & August but in ten minutes drive you can join in. Nearby Grimaud has a couple of good restaurants, and our favourite is a lazy Sunday at one of the many famous Pampellone beach restaurants, great for swimming, people watching and a walk in the sand. Then come home and flop into the pool.
Unique benefits of the property
We have renovated and decorated the house over the past 12 years, making it extremely comfortable with good quality amenities, furniture etc. Three years ago we re-built the Pool and landscaped the garden and decided it would be a good idea to rent the house out in the summer as we were spending more and more time away working. It has been extremely successful with a full summer calendar for 3 years. The feed back from our guests has been great, everyone appreciates that the house is not your average rental with well appointed rooms. 2012 will be the fouth year of renting. This winter we have freshened everything again and Christophe the gardener is really bringing the garden on. And of Course Lizzy is here in the hamlet to welcome and make everything run smoothly.
