Notes on accommodation
Plenty of hot water and general heat so very cosy and safe. Not in an avalanche zone and convenient for shops, restaurants, supermarket and all facilities. Free gondola ride to the new village at Les Arcs 1950 for even more entertainment and shops/restaurants.

Felt like James Bond skiing through the woods over at 1800 down to the Vagnoise express over to La Plagne. Massive snow dump while we were there, glad we had the snow chains, had to dig the car out of the car park!

People very friendly and no queues, lift system very efficient especially Marmotte 6 seater. Snow was fantastic with a new fall every day. We all went right to the top on last day. The Air was so fresh and clean it felt great to be alive.

About the owner
We are a family of 5 and live in Wiltshire near Bath. We have two properties bought mainly for fun and investment. We have made both of our properties have a home from home feel so you should feel comfortable and not like you are in a rental property. We use our properties a lot so we are always updating where necessary to make sure our guests have a great time and will want to book again. Many of our guests return for subsequent years.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
It's high! 2000 metres, so snow guaranteed, usually from mid December to mid April. Due to the new ski lift system there are very few queues and plenty of different routes to take. Approximately 450km of Piste including La Plagne which is accessed via the Vignoise Express Lift that takes you over the Valley.
The new Village at 1950 is beautiful and you have free access to this via the free Gondola, a 3 minute ride down the mountain for more bars and restaurants and night club for those with any energy left at the end of the day!
Unique benefits of the property
Convenient for the slopes and shops. Very snug and warm apartment with all you could want for self catering or just a quick walk to the shops and Restaurants and for those with children who only eat Pizza (mine included) take aways are also available. If you are driving, stop at the bottom of the mountain and load up at the Super U Supermarket for those evenings when you just want to stay in and watch a DVD!
TV also has the resort channel so you can check out the slopes from the comfort of your duvet!
