The villa is situated on a very well maintained development of 96 detached villas with private heated pools. The complex backs on to a pine forest and the superb cycle and horse riding tracks can take you to the town, the beach or to the further town of St Hillaire. The area has ample restaurants to suit all tastes. There are plenty of activities for the whole family, many of which are displayed in a folder in the villa. There is an excellent golf course 5 minutes away. The local beach is excellent for children and stretches for 8km. It hosts a range of activities such as sand sailing, wind surfing and kite surfing and there is a new indoor swimming pool on the beach front. There is a market in the town on Saturdays and Wednesdays with a daily indoor market for sea food, meats of all different types, and patisseries. There is a night market open most nights during summer and there are other markets on different days in nearby towns.

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday during Summer, contact Chris for out of season rentals.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday in the high season - flexibility is available in the mid or low season. Arrivals are between 3 - 8pm.
Departure is by 10am.
| Bedrooms: | There are 2 double bedrooms downstairs, 1 with bunk beds and 1 with twin beds. There is 1 double bedroom upstairs with a large double bed. There are ample cupboard spaces in all bedrooms with bedside tables and lamps. |
| Bathrooms: | There is a bathroom downstairs with a bath and handbasin and a separate toilet. Upstairs there is an en-suite bathroom with a shower. |
| Kitchen: | The open plan kitchen/diner/lounge comprises a small kitchen which has a dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave oven and electric oven, large fridge freezer, sink with crockery and cutlery ample for 6 persons, coffee maker, kettle, toaster all provided. |
| Utility Room: | A washing machine, barbeque and table tennis table are located in the adjoining garage. |
| Living Rooms: | The open plan lounge, dining room has a TV for watching your DVDs and a Radio/CD player. There is a dining table and 6 chairs, with sofas and seating for 6+. Patio doors from the lounge open onto the pool terrace. |

Bedspreads, pillows and blankets are provided. Sheets and towels are NOT provided but can be hired. Please advise at time of booking. The price includes basic cleaning but kitchen must be left clean and fridge/freezer switched off and left open. |

Outside
The outdoor area is fully enclosed. However, please note that the swimming pool is not separately fenced in from the rest of the garden. There is an alarm at the side of the pool that can be activated to sound when there is movement in the pool.
The swimming pool is approx 8m x 4m and can be heated for an additional cost of €35 per week. The water treatment is by salt-electrolysis system.
Garden furniture – table and chairs for 6 plus 4 sunloungers. Plus there is a barbecue provided. The immediate area around the pool is tiled. There is a small sandpit for smaller children.
A barbeque and table tennis table are located in the garage.
Coast/Beach
The local beach is a Blue Flag beach and is excellent for children and stretches for 8km. It hosts a range of activities such as sand sailing, wind surfing and kite surfing and there is a new indoor swimming pool on the beach front. The beach is approximately 5 mins drive.
Golf
The local golf course is approximately 5-10 mins drive. Noted 16/20 at the Peugeot Golf in June 2005, the golf of Saint Jean de Monts is opened all through the year, offering a varied course in an exceptional spot: 9 holes in the pine forest and the 9 following holes along the ocean, on wild and uneven links.
Travel
In July/August a shuttle bus from Nantes Airport to St Jean de Monts is available on Saturday’s.
The nearest airport is Nantes, which Ryanair fly to. Nantes is 1 hour drive, there is plenty of car hire companies. You can also use Tours, La-Rochelle, Rennes, or Lorient which are all within 2 hours. The TGV (high speed train) from Paris is another option.
If you prefer to bring your car, St Malo is about 2.5 hours, Caan, Cherborg & Roscoff is about 4 hours, Le Harve is about 5 hours.

Booking notes
All prices include water and electricity.
Heating of the pool is £35 per week.
There is an additional charge for hire of sheets, towels and cot.
The price includes basic cleaning but kitchen must be left clean and fridge/freezer switched off and left open.
On booking a deposit of £250 is required with full payment 8 weeks before arrival. The deposit is required for any damages, excessive cleaning or expenses incurred. This will be returned within 2 weeks of your return.
