This pretty and beautifully restored cottage has retained its character with beamed rooms and polished wood floors. The stone walls keep it warm out of season and cool in summer. Outside there is a covered wisteria clad terrace with table to eat al fresco. Below this a sunken walled garden providing sun and shade with barbeque, table and chairs. On this level are the cellars with washing machine. Lounging chairs are provided. The hamlet is small and quiet on a minor road but only 2km from the village where there are 2 general stores, a bakers,a butchers, restaurants and bars. In summer there are fetes and markets to enjoy and river swimming nearby. It is wonderful walking country and a great base to explore this beautiful unspoiled region where birds, butterflies and orchids abound.
