Activities - Brittany hides many delights for those who have lots of energy or just want to relax.
There are miles of coastline to explore, from the windswept Atlantic coast to cosy harbours and beaches.
Inland, the Ille et Villaine area has 7 golf courses, forests (Brocéliand - the home of Merlin and Athurian legends), Megaliths, byways and footpaths for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, waterways for messing about in boats (the River Villaine does not deserve its literal name "ugly woman" as it has many beautiful aspects).

Owner profile
About the owner
When our children were younger we had many happy holidays in Brittany and wanted to offer that principle in our holiday complex. We came here 10 years ago and found the good life and pride ourselves on giving good value for money. Last year 60% of our bookings were either repeat bookings or contacts of people who had been here. Look at our website. It will give you a good idea what we offer here. If its peace and tranquility and get away from it all holidays then we have that in abundance. Brittany offers seafood, sun and scenic places to visit so come and give us a visit.
Year purchased: 2000
Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
Le boussac is a 200 year old longere a farmhouse with a barn at either end. When we saw it we fell in love with it and knew instantly it was for us. It took us 2 years to renovate it but have kept many of its original features. It has a wealth of incredible old beams and other features but has modern bathrooms! The Ille et Villaine area, where we live, has Brittanys capital in it. Rennes and a wonderful Saturday market. Many of the incredible beaches are within an hours drive, or if you want to just chill out do so in the peace and quiet of our rural setting or at the local lake, lac de tremlin, it has a wealth of activities for children of all ages. We have lots of wild birds around and about the grounds and fields, we see hares, deer, buzzards and stoats most weeks!
Unique benefits of the property
We have B.B.Qs,garden furniture, swings and indoor/outdoor games for your use. There are several restaurants close bye, but should you not want to drive I can cook for you. I was a cook in a childrens nursery before I came here.
