Changeover day
Changeover is usually Saturday, arrival after 4pm and departure about 10am. Again we try to be flexible. If you would like to take advantage of the ferry company offers for short breaks we will be happy to offer reduced rentals whenever possible.

Libby (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2/3)

Libby is a larger more traditional one bedroom gite with oil central heating and an open fire should it be needed. The well equipped kitchen comes with a full gas cooker, fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. The dining area has a round pine table with 4 chairs and the cosy sitting room area has 2 two seater settees, an open fire, English satellite TV, DVD and CD player. A selection of DVDs and CDs are available and Wi-Fi is also accessible. We also have a single bed chair which can be used in the dining area to provide extra flexible sleeping accommodation. The en-suite double bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and the large en-suite shower room also comes equipped with a washing machine. There is a cot, high chair and buggy available at no additional charge. Outside there is a private seating area with garden furniture and its own BBQ and a gated entrance to the Hot Tub. We also provide plastic glasses for the Hot Tub area. |

Notes on accommodation
Towels, bedlinen and a starter pack of tea coffee etc is included in the rent as is electricity water and local taxes. We would ask you to bring your own beach towels please. There is off road parking plus each gite has a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. We would ask you not to smoke in the gites.
Accessibility
Unfortunately because there are a few steps down into the courtyard and gite areas this accomodation is not wheelchair accessible
Outside
The properties have their own individual characteristics and each has its own private seating and BBQ area. The gites also share a wonderful hot tub! The hot tub actually seats 8 so there is lots of space. Whether you relax in the tub after a day around the lake or simply look up into the clear skies and watch the shooting stars with a glass of wine, this hot tub is the perfect way to end any day here here in Brittany.
Coast/Beach
We are well placed for visitors who would like to visit either the North or South coasts as we are approximately 45 miles from both. The north includes both the stunning Emerald and Rose coastlines while the south offers the amazing standing stones at Carnac, the Cote Sauvage plus the beautiful islands of Belle Isle etc
Golf
A 9 hole golf course is available in Pontivy (12 miles ) with an 18 hole course found further afield in L'Orient (45 miles) If you feel the need there is also a mini Crazy Golf course in Mur de Bretagne (3 miles ) during the summer months !!
Travel
The ports of St Malo and Roscoff are approximately 1.5 hours drive from the gites. Cherbourg and Le Harve are about 4 hours drive. Brest and Dinard Airports are both approximately 2 hours drive.
Distances
We are 800m from the village of St Aignan and the lively town of Mur de Bretagne is approximately 4kms away.
Further details
There is a shop in St Aignan and in Mur de Bretagne, 4kms away, there is a supermarket, petrol station, banks and a selection of shops. It also has a lively evening market every Friday during the summer months.
All leisure activities are catered for locally. Lac de Guerledan has small beaches dotted around it, pedalos and speed boats are available for hire on the lake or take a more leisurely cruise on one of the tour boats. Around the Lake and the surrounding areas there are walks and cycle tracks of varying degrees of difficulty. Quad bikes can also be hired. We are 12kms from the medieval town of Pontivy with its wide range of supermarkets, shops and restaurants and the historic Château de Rohan.
We are approximately one hours travel from both the North and South Brittany Coasts where you can enjoy the endless sandy beaches and amazing seafood that Brittany is so famous for.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit will be required at time of booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
Rentals include electricity, water, bedlinen and towels with the exception of beach towels. A security/cleaning deposit of £100 will be required on arrival.
