Alternatively take a 5 minute stroll to the picturesque port lined with cafes and restaurants. Marseillan is a small town on the edge of the Etang du Thau, famous for its cultivation of oysters and mussels. Surrounded by stunning countryside, vineyards & classic areas of culture, there is no better place to relax & enjoy a memorable holiday.

Changeover day
Change over day is Saturday during July and August, however we can be flexible during the rest of the year.

Accessibility
The accommodation is arranged over three floors and therefore may not be suitable for persons unable to climb stairs.
Coast/Beach
Situated 3km from the beautiful golden beaches of the Mediterranean. These stretch 16km from Cap d'Agde to Sete, the golden sands and warm shallow waters make it a safe haven for children.
Travel
Ryan Air flies to Bezier, Nimes, Carcasonne and Perpignan, all of which are within a two hour drive (Bezier is the closest at 20 minutes!) Easy Jet flies into Montpellier. New in 2011 Flybe now flies from Southampton to Bezier
Car hire is available from all airports, alternatively we can arrange airport pickups. Average driving time from Calais is approx. 11 hours.

Further afield but within easy driving distance are many classic areas of culture and the beautiful towns of Montpellier, Carcasonne, Narbonne, Nimes and Pezenas - to name just a few.

The house is situated in the very heart of the old town, nestled behind the old town square where there are several bakeries, patisseries, pharmacy, local spar, butchers, oyster & mussel shops, greengrocers and banks. There is a market every Tuesday morning selling fresh produce, arts and crafts. During July and August there is also an artisans craft market every Friday evening.
