Le Jasmin Bleu, is a fully restored, 17th century farmhouse, set in 2.5 acres of garden, surrounded by thousands of acres of woodland. The house has all mod cons and is spacious. A newly built gourmet restaurant, is stuated 5 minutes away, in our village, or, ten minutes takes you to Bergerac, to enjoy the shops, bars, many good restaurants, or a trip by canoe or boat on the river Dordogne. There many other historic towns in the area to explore,(Beynac built on a cliff-side, the historic town of Sarlat) and with over 200 vineyards in the area, an afternoons, wine tasting goes down well! Our local Chateau vineyard,(less than a mile away), will give you a free wine tasting, and the oportunity to buy great wines, at ridiculously cheap prices. Our local village, boasts a C12 chappel, inside, is a sculpture of the baby Mother Mary. People came to pray to the baby, to become pregnant.After, they would go outside, and drink the spring water, which is proported to have healing properties.

Because of its location, there is very little traffic passing.
Outside
Large grassy garden 2.5 acres, pool 9.65 metres x 3.7 metres.
Coast/Beach
Very natural beaches, are available near Bordeaux, approx an hour away by car.
Golf
There are six golf courses within 40 minutes driving, from the house. Included a driving range, 9 & 18 hole courses, all take day members. The picturesque countryside, make these a worthwhile visit.

Chris & Fiona, have an onsite Painting, and pottery studio, and Chris gives lessons, to people of all ages and abilities. A chance to take home a memento of your stay a Le Jasmin Bleu.
Travel
Nearest airport; Bergerac 15 minutes by car. (Ryanair from Stansted, Flybe from Southampton). Car hire available at Bergerac airport.
A good days drive from Calais, (P&O & Seafrance are running discounted crossings at present), but quicker from Le Havre, due to its proximity to motorways.
We will also pick up and collect you from the airport, for people who just wish a walking holiday.
Distances
Nearest village 2km and restaurant/bar. Bergerac 10-15 minutes by car, lots of good quality shops, bars and inexpensive restaurants. (meals start around 11 euros per person)
Trips by canoe or pleasure boat on river Dordogne.
Many historic towns, e.g. Sarlat, Roche de geagac (town built on a cliff) within an hour's drive. Plenty to see and explore.
