Skiing
Meribel is at the heart of the 'Trois Vallees', a fantastic skiing resort.
You can take the chairlift, 150m away from the flat with no queue in the morning!
You can buy your passes from there as well.
After skiing, the village is very well situated to start lovely and scenic walks where the children can use their sleigh.
Travel
Lyon or Geneva airports are 2.5 hour drive.
Distances
Meribel village is only 2.5km from Meribel centre. It takes about 7 to 10 minutes to get there.
There is a free shuttle bus linking the village and the centre.
Further details
The small but well supplied supermarket is only 150m away from the flat. The bakery is excellent and provides some meals as well. There is s ski hire shop and 2 restaurants. One is in a relaxed atmosphere serving pizzas , pasta etc of good quality, the other is a traditional restaurant in beautiful settings serving wonderful food.
