Spacious accommodation with 6 bedrooms for up to 13 people and 2 babies. Large kitchen and sunny veranda set in 6 acres of organic meadowland. Games room with pool table, darts, table football etc. Enclosed garden with trampoline and swings, 5.5m above-ground pool heated by solar energy, tabletennis in haybarn, no near human neighbours!

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, we can be flexible out of season.
Short stay bookings are also available. Arrival time is 2.30pm. Deparure time is 10am.

Notes on accommodation
All heating is run by log burning stoves, the pool is heated by a solar heating system. The accommodation is suitable for children as there are no steps into the house, two of the bathrooms are on the ground floor and there are stair gates and highchairs. The garden is enclosed and has gates leading from the lane and also into the field, the pool is further enclosed with a fence and padlocked gate.
Accessibility
The property is suitable for some people with mobility problems, there are no steps leading into the house and the doorways are wider than average. One bedroom is situated on the ground floor and there are 2 bathrooms on the ground floor, one having a walk-in shower with plastic seat, the toilets have a hand-rail beside them.
Outside
The enclosed garden has tables, chairs and parasols also 2 loungers, there is a BBQ overlooking the pool. For the children there is a swing, and sand-pit , we also provide games of badminton and Breton boules (adult and child version) our lovely donkey is available on request. There is also a table tennis. The pool is for private use, it is 5.5m wide and heated by a solar powered system.
Coast/Beach
The house is approxi 45 minutes by car to the west coast and about an hour to the North coast.
Travel
Penguilly is about one hour away from Roscoff Port and Brest airport. St. Malo Port and Dinard airport are about 2 hours away. Use of car is essential.
Distances
Collorec is about 2km. away with local shop,it also has a tennis court and an assault course situated around it's small lake where there is also a children's play area. Huelgoat 9km offers not only the essentials with a wide range of eating places and a weekly market, supermarkets, chemists, a veterinary clinic but also art galleries, pottery shops, historic forest with boulder-laden river running through the centre, a small Roman canal leads to the old silver mines.

Penguilly is very centrally situated where a wide range of interests can be enjoyed. Shopping at Quimper, Brest and Morlaix. Historic villages such as Locronan and Concarneau and Pleyben. Walking in the forests, beside the canal or on the Monts D'Arreé. Swimming in pools and ocean. Riding. Tree climbing. Golf (half course). Hire bicycles. Hire canoes and kayaks. Take a boat trip around the coast or along the canal. Lots of local produce can be bought eg. Bread and cheese.
