Skiing
Montchavin-Les Coches is conveniently located at the foot of the Vanoise Express cable car, enabling you to start your day in the one of the world-renowned ski resorts of La Plagne or Les Arcs. For those who want to stay closer to home, Montchavin-Les Coches also offers fantastic skiing for all levels on the lower slopes. The Vanoise Express cable car, linking points of the Paradiski area, will be reopening on 20 December 08 for the start of the 2008-9 season.
Paradiski in figures: 3 resorts, 20 destinations. 1200 - 3250m. 2 equipped glaciers. 3 peaks over 3000m. 425km of piste. 228 hectares of artificial snow (626 cannons). 236 slopes including 37 black, 65 red, 123 blue, 11 green. 153km of cross country trails. 2 snow parks, 3 boarder cross, 2 boardergliss et 1 half-pipe.
Travel
By plane: from Geneve-Cointrin, Lyon Saint-Exupery, Grenoble, St Etienne and Chambery Airports via British airways, Ryanair, Easyjet. There are onward connections to Montchavin via bus, rental car or taxi.
By train: from Laundry Station. There are direct trains from Paris – Laundry via Corail and TGV.
By car: arriving from the North. Motorway A6, then A43 and A430 (Lyon-Albertville).
