The chalet is beautifully located just a two minute walk from the Front du Neige where the ESF is located. There is also a fabulous restaurant (La Bergerie), a piano bar (Iceberg) and a newsagent located here. There is also a ski hire shop to take care of all your hire requirements, and literally a two minute walk home. This newly renovated chalet comprises 3 ensuite bedrooms, a further double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds. It can accommodate a total of 12 people. The living and dining areas have unobstructed views over the entire valley which are quite frankly breathtaking. The large garage is used to house the boot warmer, store skis and luggage; in front you can park your vehicle under the awning.

The chalet is surrounded by balconies with furniture in which to relax or admire the view.
Golf
In summer, golf is a short drive away in Les Arcs or Tignes.
Skiing
The chalet is a 3 minute walk from the pistes which provide fabulous skiing for all levels.
Sainte Foy is one of the most exclusive ski resorts in France and is often referred to as the Jewel in the Crown of the French Alps. Its location within the heart of one of the world's largest ski areas puts it in a class of its own. There are rarely any queues for ski lifts whilst the pistes are uncongested with some wonderful skiing on piste of all grades and excellent off piste with plenty of powder. Most slopes face north or west and hold their snow well; there is good powder long after it has been skied out in other busier resorts. Sainte Foy is located at 1550m to 2650m and surrounded by famous resorts, Tignes, Les Arcs and Val D'Isere are 15-20 minutes journey. The resort offers wide slopes with plenty of possibilities for beginners through to experienced skiers and boarders and is especially ideal for families.
Travel
Approximately 600 miles by road from the Channel ports. Nearest airports are Grenoble, Chambery, Lyon and Geneva. Journey times are 1.5 - 2 hours by car. Eurostar run direct services from London to Bourg St Maurice during the ski season, 20 minutes drive to Sainte Foy. Local Taxi Services; Elio Taxi or Mountain Transfers.
Distances
Bourg St Maurice is the nearest large town. Sainte Foy is located at 1550m to 2650m and surrounded by famous resorts: Tignes, Les Arcs and Val D'Isere which are all a short car journey away.

About the owner
I live in Singapore with my wife and 3 children. We ski every year in Sainte Foy for three weeks, and are always sad to leave.
I have two restaurants in Singapore and one in Bali, Indonesia.
Year purchased: 2003
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We discovered St Foy in 2003 and immediately decided that was where we wanted to purchase a property. St Foy has the charm of a smaller resort but with easy access to the bigger resorts no more than 20 minutes away.
La Grande Ourse is our home away from home which we are pleased to be able to share with other ski lovers.
