The house is set on a hillside with lovely views over the valley. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished. There are 2 covered outside eating areas, plus other terraces for al fresco dining or sunbathing. It is just a short walk to the village where there are bars, restaurant, boulangerie etc and approx 10 minutes drive to supermarkets and the lovely market town of St Astier. There are numerous restaurants in the area, and canoeing, horse riding and tennis are all within 15 mins drive.

| Living Rooms: | The sitting room has two large sofas, TV with DVD player and English TV reception. There is a full length window with small balcony overlooking the valley. Approx size 6m x 6m. |

Notes on accommodation
As the house is set on the hillside there are a number of steps from the ground floor entrance to the pool. The pool is not fenced but does have a pool alarm.
Accessibility
There are a lot of steps so unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
There are several terrace areas for dining/sunbathing, and a large garden, approx 2 acres (unfenced) which leads into woods. The large pool (unfenced, but does have a pool alarm) measures 13x6m and benefits from walk-in steps. Pool furniture is available including wooden steamer chairs and cushions. There is a barbecue, a large outside table and chairs, and a further set of tables and chairs on the covered terrace.
Coast/Beach
The west coast is approx 2 hours drive with lovely long sandy beaches around Arcachon.
Golf
There is an 18 hole public golf course at Perigueux (approx 20 mins) and Chateau de Vigiers near Bergerac is about 45 mins drive.
Travel
Bergerace airport is approx 40 minutes drive (serviced by Ryanair/Flybe). Car hire would be essential.
Distances
The village is 10-15 minutes walk and then it is less than 10 mins drive to Neuvic which is a beautiful village with various restaurants, shops, bank and supermarket. Approx 15 mins drive to the market town of St Astier on the river L'Isle.
Further details
Horse riding is great fun in this area and canoeing is available on the rivers L'Isle and Dordogne. There are many tourist activities including chateaux and caves and beautiful towns to visit.
Booking notes
20% deposit required at time of booking. Balance payable 8 weeks prior to holiday date. A £300 damage deposit cheque is also required.
