The Pigeon tower has been renovated to a high standard keeping the original features whilst enhancing its charm and natural beauty. It is an ideal romantic haven for a tranquil break. The Pigeon Tower sits in the owners’ grounds of their main house but it is away from their house and set down a level making you very private, which is approached by it’s own drive. It has one of the most spectacular views across the valley. The tower sits by the swimming pool, which is shared with the owners.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. In addition to the above rental price there is a small Tourism tax to be added, Tax de Sejour. The charge is calculated per adult per number of nights stayed of which the rate in stirling is £1 per person per night. Please contact us about out of season weekends.
Changeover day
Our changeover day is Saturday and the house will be ready for your arrival from 4pm onwards. The house must be left no later than 10 am on the day of your departure.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, facing French doors onto railed balcony. Bedroom 2 with twin beds that can be made into a double sitting in the eaves of the roof. Both rooms have an En-suite. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom 1 with bath/shower, vanitry unit, toilet, bidet and heated towel rail. Bathroom 2 with bath/shower, vanitry unit, toilet, bidet and heated towel rail. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen with hob, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. |
| Living Rooms: | When entering the property you approach an opened plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen and a separate dining area. Adjacent is a seating area placed around an open fireplace. From this room double doors open out onto the terrace. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen is provided including bathroom towels and swimming towels. The house is cleaned on changeover days. If change of sheets and extra cleaning is required this can be arranged at an extra cost. |

Outside
The tower sits by their swimming pool, which is shared with the owners.
Coast/Beach
Arcachon beach is an hour and a half drive where you will find the largest sand dunes in Europe and plenty of great seafood restaurants.
Travel
Bordeaux with its international airport can be reached comfortably in an hour by auto-route. Flybe go to Bergerac airport from Stanstead and Southampton which is approximately 45 minute drive on country roads.
Distances
Monsegur is our local town which is 2km away so a short distance in the car. Otherwise Duras in the opposite direction is 5km, so a 10 minute drive.

There is a house book provided with all the information required including local restaurants and days out etc.
Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking along with a completed booking form. 8 weeks before your departure date the remaining 50% is required along with a separate security deposit cheque of £200. Afterwards your final instructions will be sent to you with the details and location of the house including the collection of keys etc.
