This charming traditional 3 storey village house restored in 2006, makes a wonderful base for that peaceful chillout or romantic holiday away from the hustle and bustle. The wonderful blue flag Beach only 5 mins by car. The house is located adjacent to small quiet square with typical French atmosphere in the heart of the historic village. No passing traffic other than access to residents. The good location enables visitors who choose not to bring a car to easily get out and about using public transport or a brisk 30 minute walk to beach.

Coast/Beach
The Village Plage - blue flag beach approx 3km away offering miles and miles of lovely sandy Mediterranean beaches backed by sand dunes, suitable for children. There are various shops and regular street markets throughout the year. A good selection of bars and restaurants can also be found.
Golf
Les Mas due Gold St Thomas and Plymera Gold Resort are all 15 mins drive.

By road: The village is easily reached by the motorway network.
Distances
The closest town is Beziers 10 mins drive, a lovely old cathedral town with excellent shopping, other towns of interest are Carcassonne world heritage site 50 mins, Narbonne, Adge and Sete with its many waterways and lovely waterside restaurants all closeby. Spanish border and Pyrenees are approx 2 hrs drive away.
Further details
The village centre has shops, small supermarket, two bars and restaurants as well as wine caves only a few steps away. The historic Canal du Midi made famous by Rick Stein's BBC programme French Odyssey flows by the village before heading for the sea. The Region: said to be the sunniest in the whole of France and benefits from a Mediterranean microclimate. Vineyards surround the village and tasting the local produce is recommended. The whole area is wonderful for walking, with the languedoc nature reserve close by. A short drive will take you to wonderful gorge walks and canoeing for the more adventurous. Nightlife can be found just along the coast at Valras and Cap d Agde Marina 20 mins drive, Sete with its many water ways - Venice of the south 40 mins. Local activities include tennis courts at the village sports ground walking and cycling along the canal either to the beach or into Beziers (bike hire at the plage) or just relax by the canal. Horse riding, water sking, swimming, walking. You can hire boats on the beach. There is also a sailing school. Bicycles and canal boats for hire locally. The village of Serignan is nearby, see the famous book market. There are various local activities throughout the year, especially on Bastille Day, 14th July. The Saturday market in Pezenas is well worth a visit-go early!

'Opened the door on arrival & thought 'ce'st magnifique'-we came for time to re charge the batteries - been the ideal place-very friendly village-area so good for walking which we loved sometimes used the local buses to get back! - Weather been lovely and warm up to 26 deg-even managed an invigorating 2 mins in sea-not bad for the time of year-little house just what the doctor ordered hope to return in the future.' - Graham and Carol - Oct 08
