This is the most comfortable ski apartment you'll ever try in your life. The building where you will be staying is located exactly next to the ski lift and you will ski down to your apartment - absolutely no struggle with getting to and from the piste, but the sheer enjoyment of skiing! It's a charming 2 storey apartment with breathtaking views of the Alps. Upstairs comprises a bedroom with a down-to-floor window giving panoramic views of the surrounding mountains; further small bedroom (box room) with a double bed; another sleeping area with 2 bunk beds; a bathroom with a WC. All bedrooms have their own independent storage with a further storage in the corridor. Downstairs there is a large balcony opening to the same Alpine range; a reception with open plan kitchen; a WC and more storage. There is also a sofa-bed which sleeps 2 people. The reception has a TV. The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher and a grill.

Changeover day
Arrivals are only possible on Saturdays within the agency working hours: 9.00 -12.30; 14.00 - 20.00, but ususally not earlier than 5 pm. Check-in - 5 pm, check-out - 10 am.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is suitable for individuals, as well as for families with children, even small children. The apartment has protective railings by the staircase to prevent falling over, as well as security bars on the low windows. The building has three independent lifts delivering to four different exits, depending on where you wish to go - to the slopes or into town.

Skiing
Paradiski area provides impressive 260 miles (420 km) of runs. Here you will find some of the longest descents in the Alps. The area is suitable for skiers of all abilities. Because of the high altitude snow is guaranteed for the entire season. The property is located by the Charmetogger ski lift where lift queues are non-existent even in the busiest periods of the season. The building is positioned right on the slope, so you ski to your door. You will find everything you need for skiing literally on your doorstep. Ski passes are sold downstairs in the same building and a ski hire shop is in the building next to it. Day trips by car to Val-d'Isere and Tignes or the Three Valleys are possible - covered for a day with a six-day Paradiski pass.

Travel
If you travel from London, the best way is to take Eurostar from Waterloo directly to Bourg-St.-Maurice. From the station there is a funicular link to Arc 1600 from where a free shuttle service will deliver you directly to your door. If you travel by plane, fly to Geneva and take a bus from the airport to the railway station in Bourg-St.-Maurice. From there take the funicular.

Distances
The town centre with all the amenities is a mere 5-7 minutes walk from the apartment.

Further details
Les Arc 1800 is the liveliest of the three Arcs, which offers a vibrant nightlife and a great variety of amenities to satisfy all your needs-from hairdresser's to internet access points. There is a number of charming restaurants to welcome you on the piste and at your dinner time. If you're not in mood to go out, try regional produce sold from the cosy little shops in the village. If you have more conventional taste, the village has two large supermarkets open seven days a week. The village has a golf club (summer only) and a tennis club, as well as a general sports club with a variety of sports to choose from, should you wish to extend the range of your sporting activities.

Booking notes
Deposit of 224 euros is payable on booking. The deposit is deducted from the final rent instalment. The agency in Les Arc will take credit card details as security for damage. The full amount of rent is payable two weeks prior to occupation the latest, by way of direct bank transfer to a French account. Your bank will charge a commission for this transfer.
