Changeover day
Change over day is Saturday with arrivals at 4pm and departures on Saturday before 10am to allow time for cleaning and preparing the gites.

The entrance to the recently renovated and newly furnished 135 m2 old stone Winery gives into a long open plan lounge with to the left, soft seating facing a T.V. and a pine staircase rising to the Mezzanine Bedroom above. The spacious Kitchen which features a well has full width sliding doors giving onto the terrace and a wooden spiral staircase leading to the 2nd bedroom. There is adequate private parking within the gated and enclosed grounds. Table tennis, Croquet and Boules equipment available. Large wooden childrens play house.

Our terraces are well placed close to the gites for dining and relaxing outside on sunny days and warm evenings.
The large 12m x 6m open air, non heated swimming pool is refreshing and can be used by both gites between 10 am and 12 noon, and between 2 pm to 6 pm. This allows time for daily maintenance and essential cleaning. Particular care is drawn to the tenant's responsibility to supervise all children in or around the swimming pool. Although the pool has an approved immersion alarm, all children particularly those under the age of 6 years must be accompanied at all times by an adult when in or around the swimming pool.
Coast/Beach
The Atlantic Coast is 45 mins away by car. To the North a rich variety of wild and natural environments with little fishing cabins on stilts and surfing coves in Aiguillon Bay.
In the port of La Rochelle where seafood restaurants abound you can enjoy the evening artists market & street entertainment . More south the Casino town of Chatelaillon with its long promenade and well groomed beach.
The unspoilt Ile d'Oleron and trendy Ile de Re have their own separate charm both meriting a visit.

All bookings are subject to a 30% deposit payable in Sterling by bank transfer to a U.K Bank, at the time of reservation.
A reservation becomes effective when the tenant has returned a signed copy of the agreement and the advance payment has been paid by the date specified.The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival as detailed in the agreement, together with a refundable deposit of 30% for damages. This will be refunded 2 weeks after the tenants departure, less any deductions for damages.
