The heated pool and gardens are set in a very tranquil quiet position with an outdoor kitchen and barbeque with poolside facilities (eg toilet and shower). Located within easy reach of many historical sites and the renowned 500 acres man made lakes with beaches. The gite can be rented mid and low season for weekend breaks an inclusive price for breakfast and 4 course evening meal can be given. Ideal for family and friends short breaks for special celebrations. The house can be rented in part, as there are four seperate yet interconnecting gites. During mid and low season the gites can be rented separately.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
A deposit of 20% is required to secure booking.
If booking 2 weeks for Xmas and new year a 30% discount is applied to the 2nd week.
Changeover day
Changeover is usually Saturday but is flexible during mid and low season.

Bed linen is provided and changed every week. All towels including pool towels are provided for the duration of your stay. A cleaning service on departure or mid stay can be provided at an extra cost. |

Notes on accommodation
The property has a logburner and an open fireplace for heating plus radiators in all bedrooms.
Outside
A heated private pool 10m x 4m outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. Sun loungers and tables and chairs are located all around the pool and in the gardens. There is a toilet and shower area close by the pool.
Coast/Beach
Ther are 500 acres of man made lakes and beaches with water sports and many local small lakes with man made beaches. A max driving time of 20 mins.
Golf
There are 3 or 4 golf courses in the area that range from 15 mins to 40 mins away. Fully inclusive golf packages can be provided.
Special interest holidays
During Mid and low season special short catered breaks are available. Also golf and fishing packages.
Travel
Limoges airport is only 20 mins away and is serviced by Ryanair and Flybe. Destinations include London Stansted, Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Bristol. Taking the ferry from Dover to Calais Calais to Limoges is 6.5 to 7 hours drive. A car or car hire is recommended as the gite is in a very rural position.
Distances
Ther are 3 villages close by approx 2-3km (boulangerie and small supermarket plus pharmacy) and 2 larger towns about 10km away with large supermarkets etc. There are many historical places of interest in the surrounding areas.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking and full payment must be made 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit is payable 1 week before arrival and will be refunded 3 days after the end of your stay once the property has been checked.
Guest comments
As promised, a little report about out golf holiday in Limoges.
We are so excited about this find, it was even better than we hoped for, the gites have been recently refurbished over the last two years hand have just been completed to a very high standard, so everything is lovely and new, i.e. bathrooms, kitchens etc. so comfortable and we had everything we needed, and more, washing machines and dishwashers.
They collected us from the airport (there is a transfer charge of £40 return to the airport, but if there is a few of you, then this is split between you), and it only took us 20 mins transfer time from the airport!
Denise came in the mornings to make our breakfast in the gites, and she also cleared away for us. We were taken to the golf which, transport and the golf is included in the price, they collected us afterwards too, and in the evenings we had a 4 course meal and that even includes wine and beer!
The food was superb and really really great.

About the owner
My husband and I moved to France with our two very friendly spaniels to enjoy semi retirement. We purchased our beloved property and renovated it to a high standard. We wanted to provide the sort of accommodation we would like to rent when on holiday. We have tried to give the house a homely effect and are always on hand to give our clients information about the area and places to visit. We previously owned a large country Pub and Restaurant in England where I cooked most of the food. We now provide in house catering for our clients at a very reasonable cost. This enables our clients to dine at home when they wish without all the work involved. This has proved very popular with large parties or families with young children.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We spent a great deal of time researching areas of France and chose this property on the edge of the Limousin and Dordogne for its tranquility. Whilst the house is set on the edge of a quiet Hamlet with stunning views, it is only a few minutes to the nearest villages with all amenities or 10 minutes from two larger towns with hypermarkets various restaurants and bars. There are many historical sites to visit along with some charming villages on river settings. It remains one of the least populated areas of France yet offers everything for visitors or residents alike. Our villagers are very friendly and enjoy meeting our visitors even dropping of bags of home grown fruit or veg on there doorstep.

We offer a very generous welcome pack just in case you do not have time to shop for essentials. We provide in house catering if required. This has proved very popular for day of arrival or departure. For the smaller parties you have the option to rent only part of the property. The house has 3 interconnecting fully equipped gites so we are able to offer accommodation from 2 to 18 people plus babies. We also can offer short or long stay breaks with full catering at very reasonable prices Just ask you will be surprised at what we can provide.
