Comfortably furnished, Well equipped, 37 m2 apartment with open plan kitchen, diner, lounge. South facing with large windows and a balcony which can be accessed from both the bedroom and the lounge. Tignes is part of the L'Espace Killy with Val d'Isere and has over 190 miles of pistes and extensive off-piste, it is great for all levels of skiers. Due to its altitude, up to 3500m, Tignes has a very reliable snow record and has become one of Europe's premier resorts. The resorts facilities are excellent with modern ski lifts, numerous ski schools and guides. If you want to relax there are several pools and spas including the recently opened lagoon. There are many restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets together with a good selection of shops. Other activities including ice diving, dog sledding, hang gliding, skidoo riding, ice climbing, parascending, skating, snowshoeing, and helisking are all available.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday and we need all guests to vacate the apartment by 10am.

Skiing
Less than 2 mins walk to ski lifts, can ski back to within 50m for the majority of season. Tignes has 190 miles of runs, a fast and efficient lift system with 97 lifts including 2 high speed underground trains (funicular railways). 5 free lifts on beginners slopes. Tignes is know for great off-piste with good lift access. There are 2 snow parks, a half pipe, boarder-cross course, and some fabulous freeriding. There are also cross-country skiing areas.

Travel
The main airports used to get to Tignes are Geneva, Lyon, Chambery or Grenoble. Many of the low cost airlines fly to these airports. The Ski train arrives at Bourg st Maurice which is 30km away from Tignes. Onwards travel to the resort can be by either train, coach or taxi. Advice on travel can be given at the time of booking.
Distances
Nearest villages are Tignes Le Lac and Lavachet. Both are accessible by a free bus ride. Val D'isere is easy to drive or easier to ski to. Other resorts in the area include Sainte-Foy (20 mins) or Les Arcs via the funicular at Bourg St Maurice (45 mins).
