Our countryside property is situated in the village of Angliers, 15 minutes from the historic port of La Rochelle on the west coast of France. This secluded 250 year old farmhouse, set in 5 acres of fields surrounded by hedgerow, is a safe environment for families and couples alike, a calm and relaxing place for all. You can explore many of the region's attractions, museums, sights, beaches and islands; all within a short drive from us, or just put your feet up and take it easy in a hammock or by the pool. The on-site amenities consist of; a swimming pool, table tennis, badminton, Swings, slides, sports area and wood with picnic tables and BBQ.
Our accommodation of four gites, consists of a 4 bedroom MAISON, 3 bedroom Ecurie, 2 bedroom Duplex and 1 bedroom Puce. All are different and unique, incorporating many of the original features of the old barns. New 2008 Music Studio see our website.

The one bedroom gite is decorated in a traditional way showing some of the old ecurie's stones and beams. There is a double bed and a single bed in the bedroom and a double bed settee in the lounge making it perfect for a family as well as two couples. The kitchen area at the back of the gite overlooks the pool. |

Accommodation for 7 consists of 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. 1st bedroom 12m² double bed and a single bed. 2nd bedroom 12m² double bed. Studio room a choice of 2 singles and/or a double bed with a kitchenette (hob, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster & microwave), bathroom & its own patio exit, an ideal place for older teenagers or grand parents who want some autonomy during there stay. The Ecurie is decorated in a traditional style utilising the stones and beams from the original building. |

Accessibility
4 bedroom Maison & Studio only. Designed for wheelchair use. Good wheelchair access except for mezzanine. All internal doors are sliding with a 81cm opennings. Both external doors are double with easy crossing access. The large bathrooms are equipped with wheel-in showers, pressalit shower chair and toilet surports. For Summer 2006 help may be needed to gain access to the pool, please contact us or visit our website for more infomation.
Outside
The 11 metre x 4.1 metre heated pool, situated just behind the gites is completely fenced off and has a paved surround with sun beds, parasols and to the rear has a grass sunbathing area. There is a childs safety alarm on the gate and the pool.
On the hot evenings of summer the pool is floodlit. Beyond the swimming pool is the wood, under the trees it boasts 3 picnic tables and 3 brick barbeques, you can gather wood there to start the fire for your barbeque. Slung across the trees are some hammocks, you can take a nap or just read a book, a restful place away from the sun.
Once a week, weather permitting we organise a paella or BBQ evening inviting all of the guests who are staying*. Its is an enjoyable evening where guest get to talk to each other and swap ideas and information about the best sights beaches and restaurants. The children's play area is fenced and gated with a sand ground, it has swings, see-saw and a sand pit. Our ping-pong table is situated under cover in the barn.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Ile de re, La Rochelle, Chatelaillon and Fouras all within a 20 minute drive from us.
