One of the best Michelin restaurants in the area in St. Saud. Approximately 1 hour drive from Limoges airport. 1 hour from Perigueux. Medieval town of Sarlat approx. 40K, beautiful town of Brantome 30 minutes drive, restaurants, cafes, shops etc. The area offers superb chateaux to visit, fishing, walking pony treking, pre-historic caves with some of the oldest cave paintings in Europe.

The village of St. Saud Lacoussiere is 5 minutes in the car or a pleasant walk of about 20 minutes. Nearest town Nontron 20 minutes drive
Further details
The village of St. Saud Lacoussiere has local amenities, boulangerie, butcher, small supermarket, post office, pharmacy. One of the best restaurants in the area, cafe pizza place. The town of Nontron has two larger supermarkets, very good restaurant The Grand, cafe in the market place and various other cafes, larger range of shops. There are lots of restaurants around the area within easy travelling distance. Just outside Nontron is a lake where there are water activities i.e. canoing etc and a small cafe. The beautiful Chateaux at Jumillac is about 30 minutes drive. There is also the Chateaux of Puyglem about 15 minutes drive. There is horseriding near by and lots of other activities go on in the summer.

20% deposit on booking, final bill 6 weeks before arriving, £250 deposit refundable within 2 weeks of vacating providing no damage has occurred. Booking for Christmas and New Year: Bookings of 7 nights maxium is negotiable.
