Guest comments
I thought I would write to let you know how my family and I enjoyed our recent stay at Kerhotten.

It is the first time we had visited this part of France and we are very pleased to have now found a beautiful and restful area to return to.

From the moment of our arrival, after a scenic and pretty journey from St. Malo following your directions, we were made to feel very welcome. Our house, The Granary, was cosy and comfortable and well equipped. After lighting our log fire we felt at home. The setting of Kerhotten is quite superb. There are not many places you can sit in your garden in total peace listing to birdsong and looking out through the trees to the lake, the peace only being interrupted by the distant bell ringing from Langolean Church. We loved being able to walk to the lake and on to the village for a workman’s lunch at the local cafe, and after four courses the walk back was a necessity to burn off the calories.

Owner profile

About the owner
We originate from the UK and moved to Kerhotten in February 2007 where we live in one of the 4 cottages in the hamlet. We like gardening, DIY and surfing the net, and when we get time just relaxing. We look forward to meeting our all guest and hopefully making you feel at home in your chosen cottage. We have 2 children and 2 Grandchildren living in the UK.

Year purchased: 2007

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We chose to live in Brittany because of the slow and relaxing pace in France, the quite country roads and the scenery of the country sides and of the coast lines, here in central Brittany we have the best of both. How we came to purchase Kerhotten!, we had looked at many properties but we fell in love with Kerhotten as soon as we drive down the lane and saw the views of the lake.
