Changeover day
You may enter the property anytime after 4pm on your arrival date and we ask you to leave by 10am on your departure date. Linen will be changed on a weekly basis.

Living Rooms: Open plan living/dining room. Large dining room table, TV, Hi Fi, DVD, video, books and games. Big open fire, door leading to sun terrace.
Other: Playroom downstairs with childrens toys, books and games. Garage in the basement which has a washing machine and dry wood for the fire. A 3-wheeler pushchair for any off roading!
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen provided. Property cleaned and towels and linen changed inbetween new tenants.

 

Notes on accommodation
The house is centrally heated. It would be perfect for couples and families. Please no smoking inside the house. The swimming pool is alarmed, however your safety remains your own responsibility.

Travel
Nearest airport is Limoges (40 minute drive). You can fly from Southampton, Newcastle, Liverpool, East Midlands and Stansted airports. (Flybe and RyanAir) Bergerac airport (1 hour) and you can fly from East Midlands, Birmingham, Liverpool, Stansted, Leeds, Bristol and Southampton. Bordeaux airport 1 hour 45 minutes away. There is a train station in the village which can take you to Bordeaux, Perigueux, Thiviers, Limoges and various other villages however it is highly recommended to hire a car.

Distances
Nearest village La Coquille 10 minute walk. Thiviers 10-15 minutes drive. Perigueux 30 minutes drive. Chateaux and Grottos near Brantome 30 minute drive.

Further details
There is everything you need in the local village. There is a bank, chemist, restaurants, supermarket, butchers, doctors, dentist, boulangerie, patisserie, beauty salon and a mairie. There is a local market on Saturdays in Thiviers which has a huge variety of fresh food, flowers, cheese, fish and wine. You can canoe, sail, windsurf, kayak, rock climb sail and horse ride at Rouffiac Lac. The Grottes de Lascaux is somewhere you have to go!
