Accessibility
The property has a small gated garden and is suitable for young children, however, there are stairs to the mezzanine bedroom (one double bedroom is situated on the ground floor).
Outside
The property has a paved patio area with sea views, ideal for sunbathing and BBQ's. Their is a small gated garden. Allocated parking space in the private car park to the rear of the property.
Coast/Beach
The property is situated just a few steps from a sandy beach and slipway, ideal for launching small boats or jet skis. There are several other sandy beaches and coves within walking distance. The beach resorts of St Gilles Croix de Vie and Les Sables D'Olonne are just a short drive away. There is an excellent sailing school in the village offering sailing, windsurfing, surfing, etc. In fact Bretignolles is famous for its surfing beaches and hosts many competitions.
Travel
The nearest airports are Nantes (approx one hours drive) and La Rochelle (approx 1.5 hours drive). Car hire is available from both airports. The nearest train station is St Gilles Croix de Vie (direct TGV link to Paris).
Distances
The village centre with all amenities including a large supermarket is just a five minute drive away local shops, including a convenience store and bakers are just a short walk away. The fishing port of St Gilles is just 8km away, and the busy resort of Les Sables D'Olonneis just 15km away.
