The apartment is located on the low rise Jardins d'Harmonia development just south of St Cyprien in the Pyrenees Oriental region of Southern France. The superior accommodation is air conditioned and finished with quality furnishings and equipment throughout. High beamed ceilings in the living area and bedrooms give it a very spacious feel. The apartment is set in secure private beautifully landscaped grounds with a large swimming pool and children’s play area. Mature olive and palm trees, and many shrubs enhance the Mediterranean feel. Only a short 10 minute walk from miles of sandy beaches, the first floor apartment offers views of the Pyrenees from both of its two loggias. Available for rent all year round, the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people in comfort and is an ideal base from which to explore the regions many attractions.

Changeover day
Bookings normally run from Saturday to Saturday but we are very flexible except in high season so please contact us to discuss your requirements. Short breaks are always available and bookings can be made at short notice.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has double bed, large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets, and leads to rear logia through patio doors.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Double sofa bed in lounge, large built in cupboard in hall.
Bathrooms: There is a bathroom and a shower room. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, washbasin, WC and washing machine. The shower room has a shower unit, washbasin and WC.
Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, full size oven and ceramic hob, and dishwasher. A coffee maker, kettle, cooking pots and utensils are provided. There is plenty of storage space.
Living Rooms: The main living area has two comfortable armchairs and a double bed settee. The extending dining table seats 6. A TV, DVD and stereo system provide the entertainment.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen, tea towels and towels for use in the apartment are included. These can be changed during long stays for a small additional charge.

 

Notes on accommodation
Reversible air conditioning units provide cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. A hair dryer, cool box, ironing board and iron, and vacuum cleaner are also provided. Strictly no smoking.

Outside
The swimming pool (open during summer months), is surrounded by a spacious terrace with sun loungers. A children's play area with swings, see-saw, climbing frame and sand pit with digger is nearby.
The apartment has one allotted car parking space with spaces for additional vehicles and visitors also being available.

Coast/Beach
10 minutes walk from miles of uncrowded sandy beaches.

Golf
The St. Cyprien international 18 hole golf course is 10 minutes drive away.

Skiing
The French Pyrenees ski resorts are less than 2 hours drive away and they offer some excellent downhill and cross-country skiing. They are cheaper and often far less crouded than more widely known resorts in the Alps.

Travel
Getting to St. Cyprien is easy with Perpignan airport only 30 minutes away. The TGV train also goes to Perpignan. Girona airport is just 90 minutes drive and provides an alternative with flights being more frequent and sometimes cheaper. St. Cyprien can be reached by the A9 autoroute from the Channel ports or tunnel. A car is recommended.

Further details
The St. Cyprien area is a year round holiday destination. In summer, it offers sunshine, beaches and watersports as well as many other attractions. The Aqualand waterpark, and Grand Stade sports complex and botanical gardens are both within walking distance. There are a number of equestrian centres. In winter, St. Cyprien itself is not so busy, but there is still plenty to do and the popular attractions are less crowded. The Pyrenees mountains are a great place for walking, biking and rafting in the summer. The dramatic Mediterranean coastline is within 10 minutes of the apartment and the Spanish border within 30 minutes.
