Only 200m from the ski slopes of Serre Chevalier and a short walk from the village centre, Chalet Chamoissiere is a new apartment built in 2005. Well-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer, and good cooking facilities, it is ideal for a family or couple requiring a convenient location with beautiful mountain views. There is an open plan living area, double bedroom, and shower room. A ski locker is available and a parking space. Wifi broadband access. Shared heated pool, sauna and hammam.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Sunday in the ski season. We can be flexible outside of the main holiday periods, and will accept short stays of 3 nights or more.

| Living Rooms: | Lounge area has two sofa beds (1 double, 1 single ), TV, DVD player and iPod dock. Dining table and 4 chairs. |

Towels and linen included. A spare set will be left for stays over one week. Cleaning is done on changeover day (Sunday). |

Accessibility
The property is on the ground floor, with only 1 step into the lobby. Although it may be suitable for people of reduced mobility, it is not adapted for wheelchair users.
Outside
Small garden, covered south-facing terrace, garden table and chairs, two lounger chairs. There are beautiful mountain views from the terrace. The shared pool is heated in both summer and winter. A private changing cubicle is provided for each apartment. Opening may be restricted to weekends outside of the ski season and Summer holiday period.
Skiing
The 250km of pistes in the Serre Chevalier domain are just 200m from the door. There is something for every level of skier, and the nursery slopes are at the foot of the chairlifts. More advanced skiers can take the chairlifts to the top of the mountain, and ski across to the remainder of the domain. Several other resorts are within a reasonable driving distance including the off-piste area of La Grave for expert skiers only.
Special interest holidays
The new thermal spa in Monetier-les-Bains is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Visits and treatments can be booked in advance. There are a good selection of shops and restaurants in the village and two large supermarkets in Briancon 12km away. There is a bank, post office and 2 ATM machines. Ski pass office is at the foot of the lifts.
Travel
By air: Turin 110km or Grenoble 120km airports are approx a 2 hour drive. Car hire is the easiest option, but transfers can be arranged. A bus service is available from Marseille and Lyon St Exupery. By car: from the channel ports it is 980km. By train: TGV to Oulx or Grenoble, then bus service. Overnight sleeper from Paris to Briancon, then use the ski bus service to the village.

Booking notes
25% deposit on booking, with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before your holiday. A 200 euros refundable damage deposit must also be paid before your holiday. It will be refunded in full if the apartment is left as found.
