A fabulous south facing, detached villa enjoying a peaceful and secluded location with privacy (not overlooked). Tranquil yet not remote. In large grounds with a wonderful private pool - not shared. The villa is in the Natura 2000 nature reserve, just outside the village of Callas which is 5 minutes by car. We have a butcher, baker, grocer, newsagent, post office, tobacconist, bars and restaurants. Market days are Thursday and Saturday. There are two restaurants within walking distance of the villa. The A8 Auto-route is 15 minutes away (Junction 36), giving easy access to the whole of the French Riviera. Beaches are 15 miles and the famous Gorges du Verdon is a pleasant 30 minute drive. The house is fresh and clean and fully equipped, including Sky TV, internet connection, DVD, films, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

Notes on prices
25% of the total rent is due when booking.
The balance is due 6 weeks before the holiday starts, together with a £300 refundable security deposit (against damages). Payment is accepted in UK Pounds or euros - by bank transfer, cheque or Visa/Mastercard with Pay Pal (in which case a 2.5% fee applies).
Changeover day
Changeover day in summer is Saturday. Depart before 11am arrive after 4pm. Other changeover days possible out of season.

One set of towels (including pool/beach towels), bedlinen, tea towels etc are included. It is expected that guests will leave the property as clean and tidy as they found it - a cleaner is available at 20 euros an hour (end stay cleaning costs 70 euros). |

Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchair (too much gravel and no slopes) but ideal for elderly as there are no stairs inside the villa.
Outside
Pool 26ft x 13ft with wide steps into it - flat bottomed, 4ft deep, pool alarm – surrounded by a large tiled terrace (anti-slip). The kitchen and living room both overlook the pool. Covered dining patio with gas barbecue. Boules area and ample parking.
Coast/Beach
Sandy beaches 30 minutes drive. Gorge de Verdon 40 minutes drive.
Golf
The famous St Endreol golf course is in the next village, 10 minutes drive. Also there are many other golf courses in this area so it is worth getting a combined ticket to play at several, at a reduced rate.
Travel
Nice airport 1 hour. Car recommended to get the most out of your stay.
Distances
You could spend the whole holiday never travelling more than 30 minutes to see all the sights, from beaches to canyons, medieaval villages, provençal markets, museums, horseriding, rock climbing, water parks, zoo, rambling and of course "shopping"!

We had a fabulous holiday! The villa was perfect – very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The very relaxing surroundings and flood lit pool were brilliant. We have stayed at La Villa Jaune for the last three years. It is an excellent villa which is very well equipped with excellent accommodation in a secure and private location. The facilities are excellent with plenty of pool furniture to enjoy the great weather and south facing terrace.
