Situated in a peaceful and dominant position with far reaching views of rolling hills and woodland. This is a large centrally heated old house full of character and renovated to a high standard, a house which is suitable for families or a group of friends wishing to share. There is a new 14m x 5m salt pool with views and terraced area solely for use of guests. Within close proximity of the pretty town of Montignac with all amenities. The area offers a rich variety of culture and history with the caves of Lascaux only 8km away. Throughout the summer months there are many exhibitions and a music festival during the last week of July.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday arriving after 4pm, we request that you vacate the property at 10am on your leaving day. There maybe some flexibility on the changeover day outside of peak holiday times.

Notes on accommodation
The house is heated by oil central heating with radiators in all rooms and bathrooms.
Accessibility
There is accessibility for a wheelchair into living room, bedroom and en-suite bathroom but kitchen would be more difficult as there is a step up.
Outside
New salt 14 x 5 metre private pool installed in 2008 with pool loungers, chairs and parasols. The lounge opens out onto a sunny terrace with large lawned area of garden with barbecue, there are shady areas under the large lime tree. The grounds are extensive so many quiet places to relax or for children to play.
Coast/Beach
The coast is 3hrs drive but Tamnies lake has a sandy beach and is within 15km, a perfect place for children.
Golf
There are golf courses in Soulliac 35 mins drive.
Travel
Bergerac airport 90 mins served by Ryanair and Flybe.
Bordeaux 2hrs drive. Limoge 2hrs drive. New airport in Brive due to open in 2009 1/2hrs drive. Ferry ports of St Malo and Cherbourg 7-8hrs.
Distances
Lascaux caves 8km and other prehistoric sites close by. Sarlat de Caneda is a beautiful medieval town with shops, restaurants and wealth of artistic and cultural activities only 22km.
Further details
Montignac is a small and beautiful town on the river Vezere and has good supermarkets and chemists, banks etc as well as great places to eat. Here you can hire canoes, play tennis and boules or visit the cinema.
Roc de christophe prehistoric cave settlement within 10km.
St Leon sur Vezere is pretty little village with fantastic restaurants and river side walks.
Booking notes
25% of the total cost of the holiday is required to confirm your booking with the total cost due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. In addition we require a damage deposit of 350 euros on arrival, providing there are no damages incurred this will be returned in total during the week of you return home.
