The self catered detached chalet nestles above the resort with stunning uninterrupted mountain views. It has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a seperate toilet upstairs, downstairs is a spacious open plan dining/kitchen/lounge area. There is also a downstairs shower room and toilet and a cloakroom with storage racks for ski boots. The chalet has underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burning fireplace in the living area. The chalet is furnished to a high standard with a large flat screen TV, DVD and Smeg kitchen appliances. Off the two south facing bedrooms, a small balcony provides glorious views over the valley and a large south facing terrace downstairs is ideal for soaking in the last rays after a hard days skiing.

Changeover day
Changeover day is on Saturday. Arrival time is 4pm and departure time is 10am.

Kitchen: The well equipped kitchen has a Smeg large range cooker, Smeg fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, raclette, kettle, cafetiere etc.
Utility Room: The heated utility room has racking along one side of the wall which is ideal for drying and storing ski boots and shoes, and there is plenty of hanging space for jackets etc. It also houses a washing machine, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner.
Living Rooms: Open plan living/dining with leather corner suite, leather armchair, TV, DVD, double sofa bed (with two separate mattresses), dining table and dresser. Two sets of patio doors leading onto South facing terrace.
Cleaning/towels/

Towels and linen are included and are changed on a weekly basis unless arranged otherwise by prior agreement.

 

Notes on accommodation
The lounge has a fire place designed to burn logs, these are supplied and included in the price. There is underfloor heating downstairs and convector heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We offer 10% discount for a two week booking. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us. This is a no smoking chalet.

Accessibility
Access to the chalet is via a pedestrian route and staircases. There is no wheelchair access.

Outside
The chalet has a large south facing terrace equipped with patio furniture, excellent for sunbathing and eating alfresco. There are no chalets behind us and in-front there is a footpath leading to one semi-detached chalet so it is very quiet and private.

Coast/Beach
The Mediterranean coast is only 90 mins by car, so you can ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon.

Skiing
Isola 2000 offers excellent skiing for beginners and intermediates, and there are challenging black runs for the advanced skier with plenty of off piste. Due to its high altitude, Isola 2000 boasts an excellent snow and sun record, giving the resort a long skiing season; from mid December to mid April. There are over 160 snow cannons to ensure that the pistes are always in great condition. Isola isn't as well known as some of the larger resorts, as a result the pistes are uncrowded and there are virtually no queues, so you get more skiing done in a day. There are 43 pistes of which 7 are green, 21 blue, 11 red, and 4 black and 22 lifts; 2 cable cars, 9 chairlifts, 10 button and 1 funicular. The Ecole du Ski Francais has 110 instructors in the resort, they can be booked in advance via their website.

Travel
Nice airport is only 90 mins by car to which numerous budget airlines fly to. From the airport to Isola 2000 you can travel by taxi, Santa Azur coach company, or hire a car from a number of rental companies situated at the airport, or if you are feeling extravagant there is a helicopter service.

Distances
Monaco is just over an hour and a half away, well worth a visit, but closer to Isola 2000 is the village of Isola which has an excellent indoor pool and fitness centre and some interesting historical buildings and it is only 16km away.

Further details
There are numerous restaurants, bars and 2 nightclubs in Isola 2000. Supermarkets, bakeries, sports shops, tourist information and a bank are all situated in the main resort buildings at the foot of the slopes.
Isola 2000 holds many championships from boarding competitions in the 'terrain park' to the 'Andros Trophy' on the ice track. It also celebrates New Year and Valentines day with a spectacular firework display and a torch light descent.

We accept payment in either UK pound or Euros. At the time of booking we require a 25% deposit followed by the balance 8 weeks prior to the rental date.
