This farmhouse is very centrally located in the countryside (alt. 550m), on walking distance of the Gorges d'Oppedette, while the charm and character of Luberon hilltop villages such as Viens, Banon, Simiane la Rontonde, Bonnieux, Roussillon and the famous antique market of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, are all within 30 minutes drive. Rock climbing, walking, cycling, horse riding, paragliding and golf are all possible in the neighbourhood. At the moment the house has place for twelve persons. We provide full privacy. There are well equipped kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and terraces. Fire place and in winter central floor heating. 15 minutes drive to all big supermarkets. The region's vineyards produce plenty of excellent wine. Oppedette can be reached easily by plane, car and TGV via Marseilles or Avignon airpot. Cars can be rented at train stations or airports. The farmyard is more than 20.000 m2. There will be a large private swimming pool in summer 2009.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Prices are inclusive linen and towels, electricity, gas and water. Final cleaning not included.
Changeover day
The farmhouse is rented usually Sutarday on Saturday, but Sunday (most silent day to drive in France) is also open to discussion. Arrival times are between 3pm and 6pm, however we do our best to accomodate other times. Departure before 10am.

| Utility Room: | Central heated with flour heating. Fireplace and barbeques. Hot water and electricity included. There are washing machines and clothes dryers in the owners house, which you can use. Iron boards and irons for use. |
| Living Rooms: | One very big living room with fire place, sofa, armchairs, dinner table and seating for eight people. Two smaller living rooms with sofa's, armchairs, dinner table and seating for three to four people. In the big living room there is enough room for all. |
| Other: | There is a library of books provided. ADSL and telefone, TV and CD players if you wish. We have a lot of information and route cards of the region. You can use it all! |

Notes on accommodation
Property has under-floor heating throughout. The house has very thick stone walls (cool in summer, warm in winter). The farmhouse is designed for mostly adult guest. You need a car. There are four fully equipped terraces. Pets are only allowed in living rooms and on terraces, not in sleeping rooms. We have a Labrador dog, who is very gentle.

Accessibility
The property does have one bedroom with bathroom and kitchenette downstairs which is accessible for wheelchair users or grandparents who prefer to not have to climb stairs. The big living room and one of the smaller is also easy available without using stairs. All other bedrooms are on the first or second floor.
Outside
The farmhouse has a very big farmyard. In summer 2009 there will be a full equipped swimming pool of 12x6 m. All terraces has a dinner table with four armchairs. there are several barbeques, but in summer barbeque is not always allowed (fire danger).
Coast/Beach
There are clearly many options to make a day trip to the beach. The Calanques of Cassis is highly recommended and less than two hours drive away.
Golf
The 18 holes golf course Golf du Luberon in Pierrevert is less than 30 minutes away. An other Golfcourse Golf de Saumane in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is about 45 minutes drive.
Special interest holidays
We arrange special interest holidays on request. French language courses (native speakers) or in- and outside painting courses including breakfast and dinner on location.
Travel
There are a number of nearby airports. Well serviced from the UK are Marseilles (BA,Ryanair,Easyjet) and Nimes (Ryanair). Marseilles Airport is most easy to reach. TGV/Eurostar: less than one hour from either Avignon or Aix en Provence stations. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Apt, Manosque and Forcalquir are 25 minutes away and the nearest towns for shopping. Avignon and Aix en Provence are less than an hour. Orange, Marseilles, Nimes, Arles, St. Remy are not more than 90 minutes drive. Luberon Villages (Lourmarin, Saignon, Roussilon, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Gordes, Opède) 15 to 45 minutes. Isle-sur-le-Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse and a lot of other explorabel villages are within 30 minutes away.
Further details
Oppedete offers in summer one small restaurant and access to the gorges. In Cereste you find several restaurants, bakery's, small supermarkets, a bank, post office and other facilities. For big shopping centers you need to go to Apt, Manosque or Forcalquir which are all 25 mins maximum drive away.
Booking notes
Booking may be done by email or fax. We ask 30% of the rental fee as a reservation deposit. The cleared balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. We ask for 500 euros security deposit to be paid prior to arrival and refunded generally one week after departure.
