The apartment is part of the prestigious new MGM development 'Le Village de Lessy' situated in the centre of Le Chinaillon ski resort, a 2 minute walk from the ski slopes and chair lifts. A wide range of excellent restaurants and shops are also literally on your doorstep! The accommodation itself consists of two double bedrooms. One with double bed and en-suite shower room and one with twin beds. The sofa bed in the living area can be used as a small double ideal for one adult. There is also a main bathroom with bath/shower and integrated washing machine/tumble dryer. The toilet is separate from both the bathroom and shower room. There is a fully fitted kitchen area with sink, oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher, and living area with balcony for alfresco dining! For indoor entertainment, there is a TV, DVD player and CD Hi-Fi system. A selection of CDs, DVDs, books and games are also available. Guests also have use of an underground parking space and ski locker.

Le Chinaillon is a beautiful mountain resort in the heart of the French Alps. At 1300m it is just above the main savoyard village of Le Grand Bornand, where a traditional reblochon market still takes place every week in the market square. It is perfectly located between Mont Blanc, Annecy, Aix-les-Bains and Geneva. The Aravis mountains which reach a summit of 2750m provide the most amazing backdrop and combined with the neighbouring resort of La Clusaz (a short ride by ski bus) enable you to enjoy over 200km of fantastic skiing! Although well known as a winter sports resort, there are also many summer activities to enjoy on your doorstep: Outdoor pool and aqua fitness centre, acrobatic centre, 10 hole golf course, archery, tennis, mountain biking, mini golf, walking/hiking, via ferrata, canyoning, white-water rafting, paragliding and hot air ballooning. There are also 150km of marked footpaths through forests and alpine fields where you can discover the true Haute Savoie.
There are many fetes and festivals which run throughout the summer in Le Grand Bornand. In particular, there is the renowned international children's festival 'Au Bonheur des Momes' which will be running from 24-29 August in 2008. Families come from far and wide to see the many theatrical spectacles that are put on all week. Acrobatic shows to street music ensure a carnival atmosphere! July is also a busy month with many traditional mountain festivals where the local traditions are celebrated and residents and visitors, alike, are encouraged to join in the fun!
Booking notes
Once a reservation has been made, a £200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The full balance will then be payable 6 weeks before departure together with a security deposit to ensure against any damages. Providing there are no major damages, this will be returned within two weeks of your return.
