Villa Josephine is a delightful villa comprising two homes. The villa and pool are set in lovely private gardens. There is an orchard which has cherry trees, apple, peach, greengage, grapefruit and kiwi trees where guests may help themselves to fruit when available. Each accommodation has its own private sun terrace and bbq. The property is quietly situated by the River Tech and overlooks the Pyrenees. Shops and restaurants are approximately a 15 minute walk away. There is a drive way for parking and also parking available adjacent to the property.

Large fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, filter coffee machine, toaster, hob and oven. Sitting room with large dining table and comfortable bed settee and English TV. |

Notes on accommodation
Both accommodations have central heating so the property is available to rent all year.
Villa Josephine is suitable for children and 2 cots and high chairs are available. Linen and towels are included.
Accessibility
The property is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Each accommodation has its own sun terrace and BBQ. The lovely swimming pool is approx 9x5m. The gardens are private and there is a well stocked orchard. There is outdoor furniture both round the pool and on the sun terraces.
Coast/Beach
The French and Spanish beaches are approx 35 minutes drive away. Villa Josephine is very well situated for visiting the Mediterranean beaches, some of which are quiet and others having plenty of activities available.
Golf
There are golf courses in the area. The most popular is approx 40 minutes away and is situated in the mountains. There is also a Spa, pool and restaurant at the golf club.
Travel
The nearest airports are Perpignan 25 minute drive to Villa Josephine. Girona 1 hour drive. Barcelona 2 hour drive. Carcassonne 1½ hour drive.
Distances
The nearest town is Amelie les Bains a 15 minute walk - where there are plenty of food shops and a large market every Thursday.
The old village of Palalda is just a 5 minute walk away (uphill) where there is a bakers and a small but well stocked supermarket.
Ceret is a 15 minute drive away - excellent market every Saturday.It is a medieval market town and in the past has been the home of many famous artists.
Further details
The nearest Spanish town is about 15mins drive away. The Salvador Dhali museum can be found at Figares. The villa overlooks the Pyrenees which are excellent for walking in or just driving round to admire the marvellous scenery.
