Kitchen has full cooking facilities and a washing machine and dishwasher. Wireless Internet facility available. The small quaint village has everything you could want including shop, post office, bar/restaurants, boulangerie, hairdressers, a great cheese shop and more. The surrounding scenery is among the best in Europe and is a popular tourist destination for the French in both summer and ski season. Local leisure facilities including swimming, fishing, tennis, bowls, children's play area, horse riding, walks, cycling, and more. There are also regular events and entertainment including music and children's activities around the area and at the local leisure base. The village is centrally located and less than 20 miles from the popular tourist resorts of Annecy and Aix-les-Bains.

Notes on accommodation
The house is in a quite residential area, and the person who was looking after it lives next door. The village is very peaceful and would suit someone quiet looking for a peaceful holiday. If you are a party animal this is not the property of the you.
The house is a non-smoking house. However, smokers would be welcome to smoke in the garden.

No wheelchair access.
Outside
Small garden with patio area, and patio table and chairs. There is no swimming pool as such, but the house is very close to a leisure base where swimming is allowed free of charge in the beautiful lake.
Coast/Beach
The nearest lake with swimming available is within easy walking distance.
Golf
Near to reputable golf courses in Annecy and Aix les Bains (around 20 miles away).
Skiing
Close to two ski resorts (Aillion le Jeune and Mageriaz). Around 20-30 minutes drive. These are excellent ski resorts very popular with the locals, and are less expensive, and have fewer queues than the larger resorts. If you prefer larger resorts then these are not too far away either.
Travel
Geneva is a little over an hour away by motorway. Chambery airport is closer but is usually only available in winter. Annecy airport is close but is very small. Other airports include Grenoble and Lyon. These are around 90 minutes away, or more depending upon traffic. Car hire is pretty much essential.
Distances
Annecy about 18 miles. Aix-les-bains about 18 miles. Chambery about 25 miles. Geneva, just over an hour away. Mont Blanc - 90 mins away. Yvoire - just over an hour away. Cluses - just over an hour away.
Further details
Local shops, restaurants and leisure facilities are within easy walking distance. There is a cashpoint in the village and the nearest bank is around 5 miles away. There villages in a tourist area and there is a tourist office in the village with plenty of information on lots of things to do and see locally.
Booking notes
Payment to be split between UK and France. £150 UK deposit required in advance to confirm booking. £300 UK rental required four weeks before arrival date. Upon arrival 195 euros is payable to the person managing the house. This is to cover cleaning and admin costs that end. Any damage or breakages will be taken from the deposit. If damages exceed £150 then you will be billed for the outstanding amount. As long as there is no damage the £150 deposit will returned to you. These rates are per week.
