With its heated horizon pool, its covered terraces and wide open floor plan this large and luxurious villa is ideal for large groups of families or friends. The 3 large bedrooms in the main house with king beds, en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning open to the terraces, enjoying gorgeous views of Mont Ventoux, the villages of Roussillon and Joucas, and the countryside of the Apt Valley. The 2 smaller bedrooms, also with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, in the second house, are perfect for teenagers or the nanny and young children. The main house offers a spacious formal living room, a dining room for 12 and a smaller TV room. The kitchen, decorated in the Provencal fashion, is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a large pantry and all the necessary cookware for the gourmet cook. Enjoy an evening drink in the outside living room, or a dinner on the terrace by the BBQ, overlooking the pool, while you watch the twinkling lights in the valley. A true Provencal delight!

Notes on prices
10% discount for 2 week-stays. Long stays discount to be decided upon on an individual basis. A small charge for each additional guest of 25 euros. Daily pool heating charge of 25 euros.
Changeover day
Arrival and departure days do not need to be on a weekend. Departure time is 10am and arrival is 3pm.

Notes on accommodation
Pool heating from mid-April to mid-October. AC in all 5 bedrooms. TVs in 3 bedrooms including 1 to US standard. Guest house is not directly connected to main house. Perfect for young children with nanny or teenagers. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by my English-speaking caretaker, who remains available throughout the stay, and can also do a lot of concierge planning for a fee and at your request in advance of your trip. Advance grocery shopping, baby-sitting, catering, daily maid service are all available for a fee.

Accessibility
Bedroom 1 downstairs is somewhat wheelchair accessible. There are some steps throughout the house.
Outside
Large gardens surrounding the house. Back patio off the kitchen is perfect for breakfast. On the front deck, outside living room and dining room for 12 overlooking pool and views.
Horizon pool is 15x6, great for swimming, deep throughout. Sundeck above connected to Bedrooms 2 and 3.
Petanque area on the side. Boules are provided.
Coast/Beach
Villa Manon is located about 55 minutes from the Mediterranee beaches (near Marseille).
Golf
Several golf courses in the area.
Special interest holidays
I am a very experienced cook and will happily organize 1-week stay with French cooking classes for 6 or 8 people, as well as wine touring info.
Travel
Marseille airport and Avignon TGV are each 50 minutes away. A car is essential.
Distances
Villa Manon is located in the heart of Luberon, surrounded by all the beautiful villages of the area, all quickly accessible to wander around, shop in the markets, or enjoy a meal on the main plaza. Goult is 5 minutes by car for local shopping. Gordes is about 10 minutes. Apt and Cavaillon, L'Isle sur la Sorgue (for antiques shopping) are about 10-20 minutes away.
Further details
In Goult, you will find all the small shops, a great baker, 2 butchers, a small epicerie with just about everything you need, a couple of restaurants and a great Spa (Agora), with beauty treatment, massages, exercise and yoga classes. Tennis courts available. The 'cafe' has all the newspapers and there is also a postoffice. No bank, no ATM. The nearest big supermarkets are at the entrance of Cavaillon or Apt. In Coustellet, there is a wonderful butcher and Deli doubling up as a restaurant with fixed menu - Maison Gouin.
Booking notes
Booking is through email with me. I will send you a contract listing the cost clearly, the dates and banking info over email. I request 30% deposit at the time of booking, the balance due 1 month before arrival. The security deposit is a separate check, uncashed and returned after your departure once everything has been checked. I do not accept credit cards.

What a beautiful house! My husband and I, children and grandchildren stayed at this house for 10 wonderful days...the house is very spacious, with all the facilities you would like to have and a gorgeous view. We even had a cleaning lady for a few hours every other day and a babysitter who spoke Spanish! Everyone of us enjoyed it thoroughly I recommend not staying for less than a week, and belive me, you will love it! We loved Villa Manon. It is truly fabulous and we were blown away by the gorgeous views. The location was perfect. I think the photos and description posted on the site understate how wonderful the setting is.
Herve is a great property manager, friendly, helpful, and responsive without being intrusive or hovering. The house was very nice and exactly what we were expecting. The views from the pool are stunning, especially in the morning and when storms are coming through the valley. Thanks again for allowing us to rent you home.
