The farmhouse is situated in a very peaceful location of the Dordogne just outside Lusignac, a beautiful little village with ancient church and lovely café/restaurant. 6 km distant from 2 villages, Verteillac and St. Severin, for simple shopping and 10 km from a little town called Riberac with 2 large supermarkets as well as a large weekmarket. Excellent area for cycling and walking. Large possibility for daily trips e.g. to Perigueux, beautiful capital of the Dordogne with an ancient town centre with many special restaurants. Also the museum dedicated to the Dordogne is worth while visiting. Furthermore many trips to various places of interest can be made such as Castles, Roman churches, famous caves etc. A trip to Bordeaux as well as the Atlantic coast is feasible. Also the famous Bordeaux wine area is to be advised e.g. St. Emilion as well as the well known Bergerac area.

The house is situated on some 5000 m˛ of land. Comfortable terraces near the sitting room, large terrace near the swimming pool as well as beautiful terraces outside the kitchen.
The size of the swimming pool is 5.5 x 11.5 mtr. There is a large poolhouse where the filters etc. are situated as well as a spacious kitchen facility with hot and cold water, refrigerator, gas facility etc. Allowing to eat near the pool.

In the whole area are excellent restaurants.
Further details
Special place of interest is Aubeterre sur Dronne, some 18 km from or house. It is well known in France and marked as a special place of interest due to the so called "Monolite" church hewed from the local rocks and with a fabulous acoustique.
