Charming, well maintained, village house occupying a quiet, sunny position at the top of the village, with ample car parking space outside. The light, south facing accommodation is on three levels with splendid views from the upper floors. The village of Sablet is truly one of the most delightful location in the Vaucluse. It is an ideal base for exploring spectacular unspoilt countryside, beautiful Provencal towns, villages and markets. Small, stonebuilt villages dot the hillsides, yet one is never far away from sophisticated towns. The area is immensely rich in historical sites dating from pre-Roman times including historic Avignon (25km), Orange (16km) and Vaison-la-Romaine (12km). The area has long been popular with artists, which is evident today in the many exhibitions, festivals and cultural events.

Electric and solid fuel heating in winter.
Pets are generally discouraged but please ask.
Accessibility
The location of the house at the top of the village, and the 2 flights of stairs in the house probably make the house less suitable for the very elderly and disabled visitors.
It is possible to drive and part the car up to the house but the road is very narrow and has a difficult bend.

Small outdoor, south facing terrace. Terrace table and chairs, and parasol provided.
Quiet community garden at the rear of the house.
Coast/Beach
Good seaside resorts approximately 1 1/2 hours drive away.

Bus services are available to and from the village but a car is recommended.

Payment Policy:
All rates are in Euros. Your booking will be confirmed in writing upon receipt of the booking form and 30% deposit. The deposit may be paid in UK Pounds or in Euros at the exchange rate current at the time of booking. This sum is not refundable. The remaining 70% is to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. Personal cheques, money orders, BACS and Paypal are accepted forms of payment.
