English owned B&B ideally situated in the middle of a village, 10 minutes drive from Perpignan, 15 minutes drive from the Perpignan Airport, 5 minutes drive from Mediterranean beaches and bustling resort/ports, Canet, St. Cyprien and Argyles. Spain is a 45 minute drive and the Pyrenees form a scenic backdrop with a drive time of circa 45 minutes. For bird watchers, there is a beautiful lake (Estang) between the village St. Nazaire and the Mediterranean. Leisure activities are plentiful with a golf course within 5 minutes, tennis available 2 minutes, kite-surfing school 10 minutes and other activities such as walking, horse riding are easily available. The house is a classic 'Maison de maitre', being over 220 years old and with 'outbuildings' comprising in total nearly 10,000sq.ft of space. Everything is on a large scale with great views. The house is situated in over 1 acre of walled gardens with a sizable swimming pool and has its own secure parking.

Notes on accommodation
The swimming pool is very deep with shallow end of 5ft and hence may not be suitable for non swimmers and young children.

No special facilities, but plenty of room for access.
Outside
Large private swimming pool (12 x 6m) with 5ft shallow end with at least 10ft deep end and comprising 130 cubic metres of water. There is a changing area and BBQ area adjacent to the pool which has flower beds along the side. The principal garden is mainly grass of circa 1 acre including some very large beautiful palm trees. There is a terrace at ground floor level where alfresco eating takes place under large awnings. There is off-road secure parking in front of the house. First floor terrace which is over 50 metres long with tremendous views of the village and mountains.
Coast/Beach
Canet beach 5 mins drive, Saint-Cyprien beach 8 mins and port 10 mins drive. Argyles beach 15 mins drive and Collioure 20 mins drive. Spanish bays are 45 mins plus. All beaches are sand. There is large fresh water lake within 5 mins walking distance.
Golf
First class Saint-Cyprien golf course is a 5 minute drive.
Skiing
Nearest facilities are approx 1.5 hours away.

Wine tasting may be arranged. A painting course may be arranged with the owner subject to availability.

Perpignan station (TGV) 10 mins. Perpignan airport 15 mins. Carcassonne airport 1hr 15 mins. Bezier airport 1hr 15 mins. Girona airport (Ryanair Barcelona) 1 hr 15 mins. All airports are serviced by Ryanair. Calais 12hrs motorway driving. Barcelona 2hrs motorway driving (soon to be 45 mins TGV).

The village comprises a bar, pharmacy, 2 boulangeries, 2 grocer shops, post office and pizzeria. A LIDL is 3km away with large supermarkets 5-6km away. Perpignan has a large shopping centre and a Gallerie Lafayette. Many restaurants are available along the coast within 10-15 mins.
