The house, built in the pure Provencal tradition and materials, has a neighbouring annex. The ground floor of the main house boasts a 40m square salon and dining-room (seats 10), a fully-equipped kitchen, a pantry and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs, you will find a mezzanine study, 2 double bedrooms, a full bathroom and separate wc. The annex consists of a smaller double bedroom, a study and a cloakroom. Off the main house is a covered dining terrace with views of the beautiful 10m x 5m private salt-water swimming pool and surrounding countryside. On the 3 acres of land, there are oak, olive, fig and pear trees mixing with the perfumes of lavender, thyme, rosemary and laurel.

Notes on prices

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. The arrival time is from 4pm. Departure is by 10am.

Accessibility
Please note, this is rural Provence and there are 200m of a steep dirt track leading to the property, which may not be suitable for low cars (especially sports cars) or timid drivers.
Outside
Lovely terrace (partially shaded) with built-in barbecue and sink and a table for alfresco dining. Outstanding views of the pool and countryside. Lounge chairs and parasol available for around the pool.
Coast/Beach
The coast is approx. 40 miles and takes just over 1 hour without traffic.
Travel
Nearest airports are: Marseilles 45 miles (1 hour). Nice 55 miles (1.5 hour). Toulon/Hyeres 40 miles (1 hour). The Aix en Provence TGV train station is 50 minutes by car. Use of a car is essential.
Distances
The village of Barjols is only 5 minutes away.
The Gorges du Verdon is 20 minutes away.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before the rental commences. A damage deposit is required.
